Terrible phone for left-handed users, especially trying to open the phone for use - needed to slide the icon the wrong way if using left hande.
Also, never found the alarm clock function and instructions were next to useless. Returned

Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the ZTE Racer
-
How do I put the radio on loudspeaker please.
-
Hi, I don't belive you can as the earphone cable acts as an aerial.
-
-
if you buy it do you ahve to pay a extra £10 or do all of them come with the all in one £10 deal
-
I had to buy £10 top-up. It was purchased from Argos
-
No you don't have to buy it with the top up.I bought standard £10 top up from "3" separately.
-
-
hi do you get free internet with this phone or does it come out of the minutes you buy thanks karen.
-
Hi Karen,
I bought the standard £10 top up from 3 (Three) and it comes with internet minutes. You can change the standard package to a special one and use much more internet. (please see the 3 company website)
-
-
from tesco do you have to buy with £10 top up , also do you think the phone is good ? (what would you give it out of 10)
-
No you don't have to buy it with the top up. The phone is very good but the only weak points are that the touchscreen isn't very responsive (it just needs some patience) and the battery doesn't last for long. Overall it would get a 8 out of 10, especially due to the good price!
-
Fantastic phone for price, as Jacek says the screen take a while to get use too, i find a stylus or fingernail works best !
I feel battery life excellent, compared to X10 mini
wifi, gps, 3g what more do you want 10/10
-
-
I heard due to the size of the screen some apps are not accessable, would things like doodle jump, ninjump, angry birds and paper toss work on this handset also tell me if there was any important apps u could not dowload from android market , thanks
-
I haven't had any problems with any apps - Angry Birds works, I dunno about the rest. Important apps like Facebook or BBC things all work.
-
-
hi i want to buy this but im on tesco sim card will i be able to put the card in with out getting unlock and whats the phone like xx
-
Hi,
If you will buy unlocked phone there is no problem.I bought my with "3" so I can use that net only.I saw many adds on ebay where you can buy the unlocking code for the phone but it is your risk. The phone is quite good and offers excellent possibilities and great value for money. -

Hi,
Would I be able to use this phone as modem for my pc?-
Hi
It is possible but you have to cheack your mobile net provider. In "3" they don't allow to use phone as a modem but fortunately it's not a problem for me.
-
-
can i use wifi for free limitlessly connected my wireless router on pay as you go or do i have to put credit on
-
No need for credit when connected to your own wifi connection.
-
-
Hi i want to buy this phone but im not sure what do you think and i want it on o2 How would that possible?
-
Hi the more I use this phone the more I am happy to recommend it, sorry I don't know if it will work on O2, I use 3 and very pleased with coverage and service, hope this helps.
-

great phone for price
-
-

-
as long as it is to a pc not a landline I would say yes, I have been skyping to Spain since I got it and my balance doesn't go down ( unless I text or phone of course ) Hope this helps B.

-
i am lokking to buy this phone.
does it take good and true glossy pictures??
does it have good tone of sound and musics??
is the camera glossy and real when you look at it or it's kind of fake like a sort of cartoon??
thanks let me know please!!!!-
I think you are expecting such a lot from a cheap device.
if you have medium size fingers..it will be a problem..If i were you I would go for a better size and spec..I am ok for my limited use -
As everybody's opinion differs on quality levels I don't think it would be fair to comment on your questions only that I consider this phone to be good value for money.
-
-
does it work good on facebook when using WIFI :D
-
Yes..it does..
-
Yep...I agree !
-
-
i am a out loud music lover i need to know is the loud speeker on this phone lound and more importanty does it have one or is it jjust headphone and puting your ear to the divise
-
Hi Alex, the ZTE racer has a speaker with a satisfactory volume level operated by the control top right of phone. However the sound quality is better when used with earphones (supplied with phone) rather than listening to music out loud.
-
-
hi! can i use this phone as a modern or does this phone support hopspot.
-
As a modern..If you are satisfied with small buttons and have small fingers then it is for you.
-
Actually m just gettng around to using this phone myself & it can be used a modern phone & da keypad & functionality are great... Even if u got small fingers thn u can u a stylus pen 2 get arund tht, kool... Hope this has helped you!
-
-
hi can you get free internet on this phone
-
Hi Dario'
you can get free internet indoors from a Wifi modem. Outdoors you will need to use the ZTE phone in a free Wifi hotspot eg. McDonalds Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs. Google 'Hotspots' for your chosen areas, also google 'Fon'
-
-
hi if i buy this phone do i need to buy it along with a £10 topup from currys and will the total i have to pay for the phone including topup(if it comes with one) be £60?
-
No you don't have to buy the top-up it's up to you whether you buy it or not. So therefore, the total will be £60 & no more unless you buy additional stuff, kool...
-
-
can you only get them on 3?
-
I really don't know, but that's the only place I have seen them?
I would alter my review now though to be honest....it eats credit, and it took me forever to get the data turned off (no simple switch, had to create a 'dummy APN'??)and lots of phone calls to Tesco!! And the wifi drops in and out as it pleases....
Nice phone, but not as great as first thought....would recommend thoug if you were on contract not PAYG.
Hope that helps
-
unsure, but you can get them unlocked for any network for a few quid.
-
-
can you put android 2.2 on it?
-
Yes, but it requires the phone to be 'rooted' which is a risky process that is not approved by Android/ZTE and will void the warranty.
-
-
do you reconend this phone im buying one tomorrow
-
Yes, for the price, it is easy to use for calling, text, i use the internet a little, have downloads some apps and it is adequate for my needs, i hope this helps
