Attractive case although I don't feel much thought has been given to ease of opening. I like the keyboard but have had difficulty using the touchpad, the performance of which seems erratic at best and at times is extremely frustrating. So much so, that I have bought an Arc mouse to use instead.
I also added a 2gb sodimm to replace the paltry 1gb that comes as standard. Since most customers are likely to make this upgrade, it seems very mean and wasteful of Toshiba to supply it with 1gb.
Compared to a standard-sized laptop, the battery life is phenomenal although I thinks claims of 11 hours by some PC mags are a bit optimistic. 8 hours is easily achievable and I suppose this may improve once the battery has fully discharged and recharged a few times.
Windows 7 Starter edition is also a bit mean and I will upgrade to Home Premium as soon as I can.
So basically, it's a pretty good product if you can live with something this small. Great for transportability but factor in an extra hundred pounds to add RAM and upgrade the OS.

- Good points:
- Loved it's sleek and sensual design instantly, and from then on 'no other' would do - despite the fact that I had had 'heart set' on the sexy lines of the Sony Vaio and had always trusted the reliability of Sony. Toshiba certainly give Sony 'a run for the money' on this Netbook,it not only beats it's other Contenders on design and tactile stability, but also in functionality. The aluminium keys have a quick and positive action and response, and the choice of an overall lightweight aluminium composition means that it shows no sign of age compared with a plastic fascia. It is a pleasure to own!
- Bad points:
- I seriously cannot think of any?

Looks fantastic, case is great, easy to use keyboard, light and perfect size for carrying around.
Good length charging cable. - Bad points:
- Couldn't find an off the shelf case to fit it in so had to buy a Toshiba one (Really nice though and fits netbook and charger in perfectly). Slower than I thought it would be but used to a Sony VAIO so had high expectations - fine if you are just working on Office packages.
