What are the physical dimensions. This is for my 90 year old mother and must fit an old fashioned tTV cabinet which is used for other secure storage due to her being housebound. I could just get one in that is less than 24 inches wide x 22 inches tall. Any reasons it may not work within confined space of a cabinet?
-
yes you should get it in that space,to be sure check manufactures dimensions, you will be unable to use the dvd player in that confined space ???

When you turn on, do you always have to choose the channel from a menu or does it come on at the channel you last used? I am buying for an 86 yearold who only really uses two channels so will not want to bother running through several, especially as the reviews suggest it takes quite a time to change as it tunes to each as you scroll down

The remote control is good very clear with white
buttons and once set up it is very good as BBC 1 is on
1 and then BBC 2 on two you just press the numbers
The DVD also is very good and easy to use, would recomend it and very clear screen, Good Luck

can i connnect & play my videos thru this set
-
I would imagine so as along as you have a scart lead or av input lead - we bought this specifically with built in DVD so my nan didnt have to worry about a video/DVD player so not sure

In the past I have found toshiba manual very difficult to understand. is this one relatively easy, thank you
-
Definitely and to be honest its so easy to set up you dont really need the manual

Hello,
I can't get any channels using Auto Tunning as well as Manual as it shows Database empty. Would you please advise me what should I do.
Many thanks
R.-
I think this is a question for the manufacturer - apologies for not being able to help
-
have you checked your aerial cable as this may be why no channels available

Hello
My Toshiba DV713, has turned itself off, and i cant seem to be able to get it to work again!! Please help-
I can only suggest that you check the power lead, and that it is switched on at the side. If it's working correctly then the light on the front will be either red or green indicating the power source is fine. No light - no power!
The only other thing is to make sure the remote control buttons are all working properly and are not somehow causing this issue.
Regards
