- Good points:
- Very easy to programme a route.
- Bad points:
- I found it difficult to fix it to the windscreen using the sucker so had to have it resting on the seat.

One of the 1st jobs you do when u get your new Tom Tom, is log onto the web site when the latest update is downloaded to the XXL. Yes, the lead that is provided is a standard USB fitting both your PC/Mac and the Cigg Lighter also plug, also provided. Cannot comment on an ariel extension as not needed myself.

There is no ariel extension with it but whether you can buy one or not I haveno idea. There is a cigarette lighter/charger and the software is up to date and can be regularly updated online.

I have an XXL and need another. Will the XXL Classic allow you to input GPS coordinates i.e press navigate to, then press GPS icon. Excellent to do when in Europe. Once bought you cannot exchange.

Can't do, you need to have a secure internet access somewhere.

Score 9.0/10The mount to put it on to the windscreen is very annoying, if you need to turn the satnav while driving it seems to easily pop off the mount side, the design doesn't click in very securely, but if you mount the device and then don't rotate it then it stays in place no problem.
