- Good points:
-
Fast boot-up and close down.
Multitasks better than I'm used to.
Broadband and wireless connection good
Heat - seems to handle hot climates very well with no overheating problems even with no air-con.
- Bad points:
-
No telephone socket for dialup (dial-up is still the main option in some countrys)
Can't see screen outside in the sunlight or in a room lit by sunlight.
Screen too reflective, and not a good size for browsing the internet. Too wide and not deep enough.
Screen again, often find I have to adjust the angle of the screen as the light changes or my position changes.
Key-board Layout bad. QUERTY keys off too the left instead of being central. Arrow keys a little small.
Not enough USB 2 Ports or space between them (have to use extension leads so they will fit),
Still get the message "will work better if connected to a USB 2 port" when all the ports are supposed to be USB 2.
Audio Volume needs to be one key only, not a short cut combination.
Combination drive not good, often does not see old disks and will not read them. have to use an external drive.

Ramesh, Hatfield Often on the move
- Good points:
- It has SATA port that is only the good thing about this model
- Bad points:

There are many bad points
1) It is generating enromous of heat from heat sink, one day i shutdown the system then i hold the system to put in my bag i wounderd what happend is my hand is literally burnt. its true. i realy shocked that time. the second incident is i kept a glass of water on my table then after some time i am about to hold the glass to drink, again superise water is hot ( i kept the water at 10 degree centigrade).
2) It is not worth for that much money.
3) After 4 months screen is trun to blue with some error msg.
4) its automatically rebooting some times.
5) overall performance is poor.

My Nephew uses this computer for all his games with fabulous results on speed and graphic quality. The bluray player is good and when linked to the 42" screen HD tv It gave amazing picture quality with either bluray discs or DVD. The HD screen is crisp and clear but as with a lot of these screens reflections can be annoying but in normal or low light it's ace.
Huge Memory I have lots of Games downloaded and have hardly made a dint in the memory.
Fast, oh yes no waiting for hours like my old one, had no problems at all with the new i5 intel processor, so pleased I took an educated gamble and went for the new boy on the block, lots of options out there to get the usual duo core intel's. Surfing the net has been a breeze and as for photo editing I have found no problems; I use Adobe photo suite. Really pleased with the power management system which prevents the battery been over charged when left plugged in, something I inadvertantly did to my old laptop. I did note one review which mentioned the keyboard touch pad was off centre to the laptop but this is because of the extra number pad, it is actually centre to the main keyboard. - Bad points:
- I have yet to find any and that is after nearly three months of use. Possibly the battery life but wouldn't we all like the power and speed this laptop has with hours and hours of battery life but maybe one day.

John, Grantham Often on the move
- Good points:
- Generally pleased with the product. Good display of graphics, still images and moving images. Good responsive keyboard. Adequate stereo speakers for a laptop PC.
- Bad points:
- Cannot run the computer from mains ac power supply without insertion of the battery. No dedicated hardware button for volume up and volume down. Occasionally the scroll up/down and scroll left/right facility of the touch pad does not function properly.
