- Good points:
- The ability to configure my entire entertainment needs around a single output device is what attracted me to the stand initially. The ability to hide all of the connecting cables came as a bonus. Where the RHT-G800 scores highest is simply on sound. Warm bass notes combine with crystal clear mid-range and high-range performance that rivals my previous Sony setup which fed all of my devices through my hi-fi, also Sony of course, to deliver optimum sound performance. Benchmark: Play "Pinball Wizard" by The Who, from vinyl and check.....distortion 0, then run "Top Gun" from VHS end-end and tell me you didn't have jets flying through your room........awesome. Best buy of 2009.
- Bad points:
- Doesn't look happy in a corner so I am having new power points fitted to make it happy again.

Not quite as easy to set up as it says in the manual. To set up your Sky, Video and DVD Player to get the full
quality of sound has to be set up using the correct cables after that it,s total joy!!!

Very good quality sound, especially for films, it really comes into its own there, also excellent for music.
Smart stylish design, looks quality. Very handy not having miles of trailing wires. - Bad points:
- The display that shows you which sound field you are using, ie, cinema, music ect shows up digitally on the top of the unit where you cannot see it unless you get up and go over to it!!! WHY? Why not in the side panel? I cannot understand the thinking in this, as obviously whenever you change the setting, you can't see what you have until you get up and go over, which kinda defeats the object of a remote control.........doh!

- Neat and tidy unit. All the speakers are internal so there's no need for satelites and all the wires that go with them. Loads of audio features and connected to existing a DVD/CD player, gives really good sound system.
- Bad points:
- Needs setting up correctly and in the right location to get the best out of it. You need to tweak the audio sync as there are delays between audio and video due to the PCM sound processing.
