- Good points:
-
The sound quality and maximum volume are both superior to tie newer A series Walkman which I also recently purchased. The noise-cancelling headphones are brilliant.↲
I also love the display for its clarity & the fact that there are dual controls- touchscreen and buttons.↲
Finally, I love that it isn't an iPod! - Bad points:
-
Biggest grouch is the inability to add any additional software. ↲Also, it doesn't hold on to WiFi networks very well.

Betty,
- Good points:
- Light, Portable and bought for a good price. Downloaded CD's from my computer (personal use only). Battery has a good life. Display is clear and visible. Have not tried the Radio feature yet, or putting on photo's etc..
- Bad points:
- Unable to find speakers that the device fits, unlike another company which has various shapes and sizes of speakers, I have managed to get an auxillary cable that fits between the device and my Bang & Oulsen Stero/CD player. But no real bad points that make me feel disappointed in the product.

Donald,
- Good points:
- Touch screen and screen quality is very good. You do not need to use iplayer to put music and videos on it.
- Bad points:
- Difficult to get movies on it Archos 5 for example plays most video files without conversion, would be better if it could play more formats.

Choose how you control your content
Hybrid interface with dual touchscreen and button operation gives you easy control over your Walkman® – whether it’s in your hand or pocket. Browse your entire media library with the flick of a finger on screen, or access music, videos and photos via intelligent button controls – you choose!

Is there a sleep-timer function so that I can listen at night and have the player switch off completely after a set interval? Is this easy to use?
Thanks-
There is no such function like a sleep timer but the User interface is very easy to use. Very quickly you become used to it. The touchscreen is very responsive and a joy to use. With some music players i have found that if you add too many music tracks, the player seems to lag and crash. But with the Walkman, it never lags. I have over 1300 tracks, and there no such lag. If you are into your music and like to listen to them with clarity, this is the music player for you.
-
There is no timer as such but if you select an album to play and not all songs, then the Walkman will turn off on completion of the album. If you are into quality sound reproduction this is an outstanding piece of kit. Far better sound quality than an iPod.
