Good points:: Slim, good capacity and clear display.
Bad points:: Replaces my old Creative Zen and will also so spend most of its life in a speaker dock. Unlike the Zen, that could be switched off from the remote (short press, dock off, long press dock and player off), the Sony can only be switched off at the unit itself. Not great if you're listening in bed so I've had to move the dock to a bedside table. Small gripe but annoying.

Good points:: The clear display is superb and the sound quality is excellent. Don't bother buying noise cancelling headphones as they make no difference to the super quality. The super quick time that it takes to switch on is 2nd to none and it turns off just as quickly. It is very lighweight and super portable. I have placed a screen cover on it just to protect it while on the move. The radio is a great little extra which I have used a lot and the reception is very good. Even having a few bad points would not stop me recommending it to my friends. This beats an ipod anyday and you are not tied in to needing Itunes. Ipods are just too over marketed and overpriced. This player was a great price.
Bad points:: The headphone socket is on the wrong end because if you put the player in your pocket, you always end up catching the controls when taking it out. The instructions on how to download video on to the machine are poor and nowhere can I find out how to get video on sucessfully :( The battery life is adequate, but it lasts no where near the claimed time if you do a little bit of searching etc.

Good points:: Excellent sound quality using very good headphones. Very easy to transfer albums from the computer.
Lots of space on hard drive. Highly reccommended by 'Which' magazine,.
Bad points:: Speaker not loud enough. Supplied headphones does not do justice to the product. Turns on too easily. Recordings menu gets a bit overcrowded. (I don't know if I have correctly recorded, but as well as the name of the albums and song titles when opening them, I am getting the name of every song title displayed seperatly as well). Really needed a much simpler MP3/4, just using it for radio and hard drive recordings.

Good points:: Absolutely excellent as an MP3 player, no complaints except that the sound could be a little louder.
Bad points:: Why don't you make an exclusive docking station for the player and not just ones for ipods that MP3's can be attached to

Good points:: Easy to use adnd plenty of memory
Bad points:: I always listen to playlists on random play and when i resume after a spell of inactivity it starts as track 1 so the ones i've already heard earlier play again.
