- Good points:
- Excellent sound quality, intuitive and easy to use, drop and drag is easy to use and makes loading music fast, clear and easy to read screen and graphics.
- Bad points:
- FM radio quality limited due lack of large aerial, presumably. Doesn't have the range of dock devices (any docks?) that Sony's major rival has - somewhat ironic that Sony equipment often supports it's rival but won't dock Sony devices........

Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Sony NWZ-E436F 4GB
-
As I messed up my Walkman I bought another from Ebay only to find that I can't delete the photos, videos and music already loaded. Does anybody know what I must do to get rid of the unwanted stuff?
-
Hi - you should be able to "see" into the Walkman using Windows Explorer. Mine appears in the My Computer window as "Walkman 436". Double click on "Walkman 436" and "Storage Media" should appear. Double click on "Storage Media" and you should see a list including sub-directories "DCIM", "Picture", "Pictures" and "Video". I believe any photo's and videos will be one or all of these directories and music should be found in the "Music" sub-directory. Play lists and album cover photos can be found in those sub-directories.
Files can be copied to your hard drive or deleted within Windows Explorer just as a normal file can be copied or deleted.
Suggest you are careful with what you delete and it might be worth making a back-up copy first!
Regards,
Ian.
-
just plug it in to your pc and format it
-
-

-

Hello,
I lost the charger my Sony I-pod NWZ-E436F and I searched everywhere I couldn't find it? Can you help me to get another charger please?
-
I bought a USB connector cable off E-Bay for the NWZ-E436F for a couple of pounds. This cable charges the Walkman when connected to my computer and can be used with any 12v to 5V USB adaptor or 240v to 5V USB power adaptor.
-
e bay would be your best option or try maplin
-
-
is this player have a recording function?
-
Not that I'm aware of.
-
-
Where can I find details about how NWZ-E436F works with BBC iPlayer?
-
Not sure. I would try the BBC website in the first instance. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Regards
-
-
Is there a firmware update ?I have looked at the new E-series Sony with attatched speakers but i have the NWZ-E436f and am very happy with it
Firmware is 1.02 on my device now
-
I think firmware v1.02 is the latest firmware for this model. I think the E436f is a great player!
