- Good points:
- It's straight-forward to use and is good value for money given the quality of the product (I have bought cheaper MP3 players in the past but they never last long!).
- Bad points:
- I think the maximum volume is too quiet - It's probably set at that limit to stop people a) damaging their hearing and b) annoying other people on public transport but I listen to mine while walking to work and, when walking along the busiest roads with all the rush hour noise, I could do with a little more volume.

- Good points:
- Fantastic sound especially if WMA lossless format files are used. Its worth using that bit more memory for the capability of sound quality. For best sound quality use with the Sennheiser PMX sports headphones.
- Bad points:
- This is generic to most MP3 players, why oh why dont they have clips - are we expected just to put them in our pockets? The Sansa clip MP3 player is great for this but has not quite got the edge on sound to the Sony. USB cover is a bit loose for me and I have put some double sided sticky foam on so that I dont loose it while jogging.

Good Morning. I am sorry but you need to contact your supplier or Sony online. I have no technical knowledge.

Perhaps your Sony needs recharging on your computer. Pull out your USB and insert into a USB slot on your computer. Are you sure you have switched it on? If all fails, get a young person to show you how to work it. I do this when I am stuck with a problem. Good Luck!!!!

i plugged my Walkman to my friends PC , after that it doesn't work till now.when i try to turn it on it shows just Walkman, and restarting is not helpful at all. i have tried to charge it with PC as well as direct power but still useless.

Have you tried to leave it on and all power to run out of it then recharge it via your PC

did your usb cap keep falling off, did you lose it? Could you find a replacement? where from?

never had a prob with it i can only say you could try reporting the problem to sony customer services as see if they can help you

i don't understand what happen to my mp3. this morning it worked really fine, but when i hit the play button to switch it off, it displayed "Power off" continuously, and freeze all of a sudden. IT FREEZE! when i connect it to my computer, it doesn't respond. i'm so upset right now. hmmph!

it may need charging, this happened to mine and I left it off for a day or two and then recharged it and it was back working

try resetting it u will need a small sharp object like a needle the re set on mine is at the back near where the headphones plug its very small and easy to miss stick the end of the needle in this small hole that should re set it it should then return to normal hope this works

How do I find and log radio stations-
Good Morning. On main menu go to settings. Then FM settings. Then preset Fm. Then Automatic Scan. Choose OK. Radio stations in your area will be logged.

Hi Jack, it sounds as if it is broken, if it was recognised before and worked before. Try it in a different PC/Laptop.
