1. Store's a large number of tracks.
2. Easy to carry.
3. Clear sound. - Bad points:

1. Stops operating when it's very cold and displays a low battery signal when it's definately not. I leave it for about 30 mins and it's starts up normally.
2. It advertises that up to 13,000 tracks can be stored but i've got around 7,700 loaded and can't get anymore on.
3. Sometimes has problems deleting tracks. I've sometimes deleted tracks from the MP3 player and my computer files only to have them reloaded at a later date!.

I have a NW A1200 would the software work with the NW A3000 or is there different software for this model? As I didn`t want to conflict software, or would the software be compatible

I dont know if the NWA3000 will work with your mp3, it does not work properly with the 3000

The software is not great for the NW3000 but I have no idea whether or not it is compatable with the NWA3000, sorry.

THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH SONY MP3'S, they seems to work for some people automatically and not for others. DO YOU HAVE SONIC STAGE SOFTWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER? IF NOT YOU MAY NEED TO DOWNLOAD IT.

there seem to have been many issues with the system sony use, some people are lucky and it works instantly other people have much trouble.

How do you open the Sony NW-A3000 to access the battery. My re-chargeable battery won`t hold a charge anymore.
