Kathleen, Knebworth Music lover

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
I purchased a similar product by another manufacturer but the sound quality and especially volume were so poor that I took it back to the shop and bought the MDR-XD200 instead, at a similar price. The difference is remarkable. I don't want something that will blow my head off and this unit is exactly right in sound quality, style and even price.
Bad points:
Comfort also would be fine, were it not for having to remove my ear rings whenever I use the headphones. That said, I suppose the same applies to any 'proper' headphones (not the sort that you stick in your ears).

Good points:
Good quality sound, excellent long lead from the jackplug.
Bad points:
Switch on the earcups feels a little 'tacky' not much of a quality feel about it. Though it does work and the sound emphasis alters.

  3. will these headphones do well for sound production such as how to determine the volume of vocals over tracks? i got the technika ones that where in the £20 pound range and they where perfect for what i needed but the right speaker went within a few weeks & then the left one fell off . i have been told to go for noise canceling ones but im not looking for the top of the range just somthing that will be as good as my last ones ! one thing i must know about these is that they dont have ''tinny'' base .
