- Good points:
- Picture good, sound good . design and visually very nice. Fitted to chimney breast in lounge ,although big it does not appear `in your face`and althogh other items in the room are not of very modern design it blends in very well. Easy to mount and connect -- cables not visible - contained within chimney.
- Bad points:
- A bit operation complicated but will get used to it. Would have liked to have had full paper instructions to refer to as well as the i-manual built into set.

- Issues with the internet for the first two weeks. Helpline was only available in office hours which is not of much use to people who also work 9 to 5.

Internet use is excellent with TV on demand features, very easy to use.
initial setup was very easy and up and running in minutes
sound quality is excellent for such a slim TV. have heard many led tvs and the sound out of this unit is by far the best i have heard.
- Bad points:
- 3d picture could be better, have seen multiple sets and this could be improved. hopefully a firmware update will help sort this.

Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Sony KDL-60LX903

This is now considered to be a previous model by Sony. Do you think I should buy one in the next two days, or for the same price I buy a Panasonic 65 inch 3D with 600 Hz & 5000000:1 contrast?
I really appreciate your advice.
-
Hi Mahir, well i'm sure you know th saying bigger is better. I dont really know much about the Pansonic but i can confirm the sony is an excellent tv and have had no issues with it no matter what i have been playing on it. I would take the contrasts manufactures say with a pinch of salt as their is no standard measurment and manufactures use their own scales. if you want to know anything inparticular just ask. thanks
-
DONT REALLY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE PANASONIC, BUT HAVE NOT HAD ANY TROUBLE AT ALL WITH MY SONY. BRILLIANT PICTURE AND SOUND AND ALSO THE INTERNET WORKS REALLY WELL
THINK HARD -
Hi Mahir
Like above the tv gives a good picture If I were you I would type in on google the model number of the Panasonic tv with reveiw on the end allso cheack out av reveiws it all depends on your room size and energy? thats if you want save money the sony will be cheaper to run. Panosonic have a really good reputation and it was sony that knocked it of its perch at the time it came out
Well I hope this helps
Best Regards Richard

Many thanks for the responses. I am ordering the Sony.
Mahir-
You won't be disappointed! The guy who installed mine said it's a beat and he wasn't wrong!
-
Good choice, dont think you will be disappointed
-
Hi Mahir
So you made your mind up thats great as its always a bit nervous to make a decision, I dont think you will be disappointed with the chioce you made.
Kind Regards Richard -
I had the sky man out yesterday and he was well imperssed with the picture quality. I hope you got one and are enjoying it. Oh and I meant beast in my first comment.

The KDL-60LX903 has become a previous model. Will it ever be available again? Thanks.
-
It should be. Fantastic model
-
-
can i down load films stright from a hard drive or do i have to do it through a lap top
-
Laptop and your dvd or bluray player is the only way as Sony do not support usb for hard drives, I use an old Samsung bluray player together with a 1 tb hard drive to connect to the tv I all so use a sony bluray with no support for usb hard drives may be Sony may fix this later with a firmware up date.
I think manufacturers are only out to make money by making you stream there contents over to your tv or bluray player.
Hope this helps -
If you have a networked attached hardrive I do bit see it as a problem. You should be able to stream direct from the hardrive to the tv. Have not personally tried to connect a USB hardrive to the set but I think it should work direct. I will try it and let you know the outcome. Thanks

Reading these reviews it seems this is an old model now so what is the replacement please? I need it to have two scarts connections, a pc connection as a minimum
-
i would say the 55inch KDL-55NX813 maybe? not really sure
-
You need to be on google site and type in the model number sony uk site will give you the specification and then look under connectivity and it will tell you how many scart connections. The Sony KDL-55nx as far as I know only comes with 1 Scart.
Scart has become old tech so you need to relace your equipment with Hdmi outputs so you get the best out the unit you buy.
Sony KDL-60LX903 only comes with 1 Scart but still a great product all so has the 3D tech built in and they are all ways keeping you up date with the latest firmware allso I chose this above the rest for its WiFi.
Hope this helps
