- Good points:
- Set up took minutes plugged in hdmi for virgin and ps3 and all systems go. Carried out Bravia sync and the remote now controls my ps3 , thats a bonus. This picture is amazing and is so clear on hd broadcasts also blu ray through the ps3 is jawdropping. Would advise to get the biggest set you can was worried about upgrading to a 46 from a 32 but on a minute of viewing a wondered how i ever coped.
- Bad points:
- Maybe the sound is a bit thin but it is a flat screen, so next purchase is a wireless surround system,

- Found an excellent deal for this HDTV after I spent several days researching which make and model would be suitable for us. Fabulous TV and we're delighted with it. It's for our living room and is quite a bit bigger than our old one and we love it.
- Bad points:
- Absolutely - nothing!

What format can the USB port play.
I got a 160gig hd with films avi, dvdrip. R5 will it play these straight from hard drive-
hi jav, just tried a 720p .mkv film on a usb drive and it did not work. normal dvd's like .vob .vts etc work fine on the network drive and the usb drive. anything hd seems to fail. i haven't tried the sony avchd format yet but i hear this does not work either.
bit disappointing.
if you dont have a nas drive i would get an old pc onto your network and store all your films on it. then you can use free software to convert the hd films on the fly. it works quite well (i have to do this to watch any hd films).
A 10 year old pc with an old p4 processor inside copes ok with the software.
