Roy, nothing
- Good points:
- It has quite a good picture quality.
- Bad points:
-
I has been back to the workshop three times since I purchased the item.
Twice during the first 6 months.
The main circuit board has been replaced twice.
For the price I paid for the machine it is outragious that it should keep on braking down.

A high-end 200 mHtz Motion flow TV.
Very good pictue from both ordinary or BluRay DVDs - Bad points:

I m disappointed that I could not upgrade the firm-ware so that it will be able o play/show 3D programs.
It looks like I will have to get another TV if I want to have a 3d compatible machine.

Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Sony KDL-40Z5800
-
how do you get the clock on screen permenantly .? It has been up there before but i obviously pree sumfin and it disapears but i dont know what buttons it is to get it back up. PLEASE HELP !
-
you press the top button on the circle on remote control to turn on and off ... has i and ? on it :-)
-
Unfortunately you can't do it when there's a digital or satelite input straight into the tv, however you can make it come on(and stay on) when you are using HDMI or component input by pressing the (i+/?) button twice, great if you have sky, not so good if you're using freeview or freesat!
