- Good points:
- Connection to the internet is easy., style and design is good.
- Bad points:
- None, bought as a replacement to a Toshiba LCD, this sony is too complex, making picture adjustment, difficult to get right, over bright colour, sound is very "tinny", bass adjustment makes the whole cabinet vibrate. won't play video via network connection. Its a dust magnet, unlike a toshiba.

- Good picture.

Old discontinued model. (recently purchased).
Sold as Full HD but requires purchase of Freeview HD Set Top Box to receive HD programmes.
Does not receive all freeview stations. 'Guide Plus' does not seem to work.
Not value for money. (three months on, newer, more up-to-date models, not requiring additional purchase of HD box to receive HD, are on sale at a lower price than I paid for this discontinued model.

Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Sony KDL-32V5500
-
Is this television Internet compatible? Instead of viewing YouTube on my computer, would like to do so via this large TV screen. Thought I saw a review which said Internet was easy, but haven't seen anything else.
-
You need to buy the connecting cables from your computer to the T.V. set. Look on your on screen toolsselection for the right symbol.
