Confirmed purchaser Spoken-word listener
- Good points:
- The radio is very easy to use, good sound quality, solidly built and good life of 4 AA batteries
- Bad points:
- The radio's only faults are it is rather bulky to be totally portable and the tuning display can be hard to see sometimes. Would highly recommend this radio though as these are minor quibbles. Another good radio from Sony.

- Good points:
-
1. As i like to listen to the french radios, in particular France-Inter, the reception, because of the Long Wave Frequency ( not AW ), is almost perfect !
2. Is portable and work on batteries
3. Being aged 77 years old, I like the retro-look
- Bad points:
- Wished it could be used as an alarm clock and had a DAB too

- Good points:
- Good size - not intrusive but big enough to have a pleasing sound. Long use out of 4AA batteries. Tuning led is very helpful to get a good signal. Reception is generally good - if not, it is v. easy to move around to get best signal.
- Bad points:
- Not sure I find flush fitting carry handle easy to pull out.
