Good points:: Only this manufacturer produce such as model. It means that I can sell my hdv camcorder in the near future since the GV-HD700E will be used to play all my tapes. It has plenty of inputs and outputs. Good quality.
Bad points:: Far too expensive, does not recotrd in high definition

Good points:: Excellent quality . The crispness of the screen is exceptional. The controls are laid out in logical fashion and the menu is largely intuitive. Multi connectivity is very useful for a range of attachable appliances.
The machine also enjoys the veratility of playing DV and HDV in 16:9 and 5:4 formats. A first class item for the price.No doubt more sophisticated machines are available for professionals but this will do all an amateur requires.
Bad points:: Sound is a little wooly but more cannot be expected for the size of the speakers and one only needs to hear the sound anyway. No one would use this to listen to a classical orchestral piece.
