Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini
-
Do it have a flashing camera?
-
Yes it has a camera with flash and takes a nice pic.
-
-
Currently debating buying this phone, got three questions!
Firstly, how 'poor' is the battery life for this phone? I've noticed on a lot of reviews it's mentioned. I don't really use my phone much, other than for txting, and some days I don't use it at all - will the battery still run down really fast? Likewise, has anybody had problems with the phone freezing at all (a problem I often had with previous touch screen phones)?
Also - does it have an actual 'silent' setting? My current phone's 'silent' is actually vibrate, which is really annoying!
Lastly, given that I only really use my phone for txting and an occasional phone call or photo, do you think it's suitable? I never really require much from a phone!
Thanks!-
Battery life is really good. I charge about twice a week. I find it is best to actually let it run low before charging which seems to be better for the battery.
You can turn vibrate off in the settings so no problem there.
I am the same re texting etc BUT be warned....apps are very addictive and I am hooked! Lol!
Hope this helps

What micro sd cards go with it would a 4GB micro sd hc go in the phone
-
any gb memory card will fit in it just finding the right make of memory card to fit the slot
-
-
does it have a qwerty keyboard either slide out or turning the phone round on the touch screen?
-
Not this version.
-
-
I really want this phone..but I'm pretty sure there's no QWERTY keypad...am I correct? :/
-
You are correct. You want the pro version I think.
The touch screen is very easy to use though.
And the jump between numbers, letters and symbols
Is done with the swipe of your finger. It's a lovely little phone. -
No qwerty keypad on this phone. The touch screen is very easy though.
-
-
how does the x10 compare to the nokia n8? i am torn between the two as i like both phones.
-
I haven't used a milia in quite a few years so
Cannot make the comparison for you. I just love
The text function on this and how easy it is to use.
-
-
Does the phone flip out to a keyboard?
-
Not this one. You will need the experia mini pro I think
Check it out online.
-
-
is this quad band?
-
Yes I believe it is quad band as am able to use in other countries.
-
Think so.
-
-
how good is the phone and how easy is it to work
-
Phone is very cute and extremely easy to use. Good idea to read the instructions though just to familiarise yourself with the keys/functions. Texting is a piece of cake and so simple. When recharging I have found it is much better to let the phone almost run dry before charging(after initial full charge). I have only had to recharge once this week using this method.
-
The phone is great! It's lovely and compact and extremely easy to use. The phone also looks great... a real eyecatcher! It is very small and light, but simple to use. If you have any problems, a quick flick through the user guide should clear things up pretty quickly, though most of the functions are self explanitory. The only real problem is the battery life. Having said that, as long as it isn't used non-stop, then the battery is as good as can be expected from a phone packed with features!
-
-
i can receive pics ect thru bluetooth but i cant seem to send anything any ideas ???
-
sorry no not had any problems check your settings, also be careful there is a app that is using the internet all the time turn it off it's to do with traffic and also the message report is on all the time unless you turn that off.
-
-
how do u send music and Photos through Bluetooth
-
For photos just hit the mail icon upper left corner and send
You will need to search for devices and turn Bluetooth on
Don't know about music but imagine it is about the same as for photos. Hoe this helps.
-
-
where will you find the free downlond music? im have prob find it but i just got the phone x
-
Hi, I haven't actually used the music app so can't help you there, I'm afraid! I think it's in the music store button
-
Mp3 music dowload or look in market place, there may be others?
-
-
has it got wi=fi?
-
yes
-
yes it does
-
yes and it works ok
-
-
Does this camera have a front facing camera so you can take more accurate photos ? Can you edit the pictures on the phone ? Also can you get an msn app ? thankyou :) xx
-
Hi, it is a front facing camera which also has a good flash. Sadly u cant edit photos unless there is an app u could download. You can easily get access to msn apps via the phone menu and can download msn apps. Hope this helps.
-
-
Does this have the text messages listed as 'conversations' as well as just normal text messages? thanks
-
i have only managed to get conversations
-
Yes it does list conversations, its good, makes texting much easier
-
yes it does
-
-
Can you downaload angry birds and other games and apps from this phone ? does it support android ? and is it worth the price ? does it come with animated wallpapers ? thankies xx :)
-
yes to all those questions. definatly one of the best phones ive onwed
-
Yes for all from me too. Worth the price, but it does take a while to get used to the small size of the phone.
-
yes works with no probs
-
-
Is this phone worth the money ? And would you recommend i wait for the new Xperia phone to come out or just buy this one ? x thankies :)
-
That's your decision to make. This phone is great if you want small. If you intend using apps etc you might want a bigger screen.
-
In my honest opinion, this phone is about as good as they come! This model has a number of features which make this a real winner. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
-
-
Does this phone have Flash? Able to play FB apps?
Thanks-
i don't think so but to be honest i am really not sure.
-
i really don't know but I don't remember reading about it on the instructions
-
-
I have a w995 would u recommend the x 10 has it got a step counter on it
-
No, it hasn't.
-
-
does this phone come with facebook as a short cut, as i have the x8 but want to get this for my little sister and my mom doesnt want her to have it if its got the short cut lol thanks hope u can help
-
Yes it does have an app for Facebook but you may be able to delete it, I am not sure.
-
-
Why does this phone suck at staying alive and picking up signal, also how come the 3G barely works on it
-
I'd contact your network operator about that cos I'm on Orange and 3G works really well. Best to charge up every night to stay alive!
-
-
is this phone easy to handle as it is so small? I currently have the vivaz u5 so its quite a size difference to get used to. Also how is the texting? only im used to querty keyboard
-
I found it hard to handle particularly during phone calls (it spent most of the time on the floor as opposed to by my ear). As for the texting, the buttons are quite responsive and I did get the hang of it but a lot of people seem to disagree and say the keys are too small.
-
-
can you share the wifi like barnacle to use with my ipod touch 4g
-
not very sure sorry
-
-
wots its performance like on the internet please, and can u make reading and writing tx larger for people with impaired vision......thankyou
-
Hi. It's only OK. I haven't found a way to enlarge the text. You can change font size but it's not brilliant.
-
-
do you know if you can use chat on facebook on this phone?
-
It doesn't appear so. If it does then I haven't found it yet !
-
-
can u get facebook on it ????
-
Yes. there is a specific widget already installed on your phone for facebook when you get it. The widget is very easy to use
-
yes u can and more
-
-
How much dose it cost, and how do you work it .....?!!
-
Sorry it was a free upgrade, it's all touch screen.
You scroll left to right through menu screens, but you can choose the menu screen which suits how you want to use it. It's quite straight forward once you've got it to play with.
-
-
If I got a phone last year and I now want this phone, is it worth selling my other phone and buying this one?
Any faults with the phone, if there is please explain..I'd like to know before I definately ask to get it!
-
only problem i have had is the battery life isn't great. if i use it a lot during the day i end up having to charge it every night
-
-
i own one all ready but cant seem to get the battery out i know this seems a random question but having trouble trying to charge it up so my girlfriend who also has one said if i can get battery out and place it in hers now i only bought it last year and have only used it for 3 months please help as feel bamboozalled.
-
I don't think you can take the battery out unless you take the phone apart which will affect your warrenty. You may have a faulty charger or connection inside the charge point. I think you may need to take it back to where you got it from and ask for a new one or replacement. Sorry I cant help you more.
-
-
hello i want to know how much contacts in phone memory we can save i m looking nearly 2000 i want to know
-
No idea, but probably up to your mini-card capacity, which can be huge!
