1. I can't find a manual, how do I download songs?

2. What are the headphones like on this model?

   1. You don't get over ear head phones. They are small in ear ones. Sound is fine but I use my Bose head phones and the sound quality is superb. The provided phones are fine I personally don't like in ear phones.

   1. If you play with the setting there is a volume limiter I believe. You must have set this to low.

4. Does this D-NF340 have bookmarks?
   According to sony web page it doesnt but my friends D-NE340 has bookmarks & I cant find any for sale with bookmarks.

   1. Sue, I have not used it, but according to the instructions the D-NF340 does have a bookmark option.

5. Hi
   
   My Sony D-NF340 cd player just stopped playing cd. The message "No disc" shows when playing commercial cds and mp3 cds.
   
   The radio works fine.
   
   I have tried a cd cleaner disc and using a camera airbrush lens cleaner but neither of them fix the problem.
   
   Have contacted Sony but they can't help either.
   
   I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how fix it. Otherwise I guess it's time to get a replacement.

   1. Can only suggest blowing out with an air line and cleaning the laser lens with a cotton bud. I take it the unit has not been dropped.

6. Thinking of purchasing D-NF340. Is it better than D-EJ011 and EJ021 for listening to classical CDs, especially choral works?

   1. I would not know. Mine is perfect sound with Bose noise cancelling headphones. Wouldn't change it for anything.

   2. Jack, I have not listened via the other two products you have mentioned, but I invested in some good over the head, head phones and find the D-NF340 is more than up to the job and have used it for both classical and choral without complaint.
