The quality of the pictures taken from this camera is amazing... Even without flash it can capture really good pictures and can often capture real lighting with real moods without flash. The built is solid.. though some might consider it slightly bulky but i think its alright considering the amazing pics it can capture. Pictures taken with the finder is simply amazing and precise and its 15x optical zoom can do wonders. The flash from this camera is really good as well and can capture pictures in a completely dark room as though it was lighted!!! I went to underground vaults in scotland and could capture the vaults in its entirety. The movable LCD feature is really very helpful when trying to take pictures from a difficult position.
All in all I would recommend it. - Bad points:
- The only bad points about it is that the setting button on top of the camera is easily changed and a brush of your hands could have you taking pictures in a different setting without you even noticing it. Maybe it was just me but I did have a bit of problem with that during holidays. The other bad point about it is that the night mode has no speciality really other than it allows you to see in a completely dark room. The quality of that picture is still questionable though.

- Good points:
- Takes cracking photos in point and shoot mode. Excellent macro - takes fantastic photos really close. Great zoom. Flash has some very useful modes such as SL to keep backgrounds bright.
- Bad points:
- Fiddly interface - too easy to accidentally hit buttons. Lack of many options when in modes other than automatic.
