- Good points:
- It is indeed a very good compact digital camera and I personally prefer this camera over heavy weight DSLR cameras.
- Bad points:

the only thing I don't like in Nex 5n is the detachable viewfinder and no builtin. somtimes you have to use viewfinder and flash light together but you can't because there is no place for them to use together at the same time. there is nex 7 in the market but it is way too expensive.
I want sony to make other lenses work on the nex too with AF.

- Good points:
- I am very happy with my purchase. pictures are wonderful even in the dark and without flash. at first i wasnt a fan of flash not being built in the camera, but once i start using it, i love this one as it is compact and easy to use, its not in the way. i do not find the camera difficult to use. overall, i love it!

- Keep activating the movie button accidentally, I have loads of walkabouts. Button could be placed away from thumb rest.

Does the 5n support uhs-1 enabled sdhc cards like the Sandisk extreme pro 45 & 95mb cards?

I cannot confirm this as I only use 32GB cards.
I find that sufficient, also if a card fails you will not lose all data. 32Gb cards from 7dayshop are very cheap.

Was looking for a first time buy for a dslr camera, im getting married and wanted a decent camera for honeymoon to take wounderful pictures on. this one caught my eye but i love photos and taking photos but im no expert. amerture really!
the only thing that put me off this one is no built in flash... does this really matter. how does it do in dark without flash?

Does very well in dim and dark surroundings.
Best camera I have ever had for taking pictures in these conditions -
I have not had to use the flash once, it seems to know how much light there is and then adjusts the settings accordingly. This was my first dslr and I love it as its simple to use and not at all heavy or bulk it just slips into my shoulder bag no need for horrible camera bags.

Yeah it works well using available light, much better than the nikon dslr I had before and it does come with a flash that screws on, I leave mine attached as its pretty compact.
