- CLOCK VERY HARD TO SET. IT CUTS OUT WHEN COOKING TIME ENDS. HAVE TO WAIT 5 TO 10 mins BEFORE IT WILL SWITCH BACK ON. SLIDES ABOUT THE WORKTOP WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR. TOUCH CONTROL PAD NOT VERY RESPONSIVE

I have not tried so I am afraid I do not know. However according to the instructions it should brown food as it has grill.

Same as Helina. The oven has a Pizza program and the grill should brown food. However, we haven't used either of these functions to date.

Why does it take 3 mins to boil a cup of milk when my old one used to take half the time, both being 800w?. Has anyone else found their microwave to cut out when it gets hot? then having to wait 5 to 10 mins before it will switch back on.

No I certainly have not and I use it a great deal Also my cup of milk boils in just over 1.5 mins.

There must be something wrong with mine. I tried to get in touch with Sharp the makers but gave up after 5 mins at £1.53 a min. I have just tried a small cup of water in the microwave it took 2 mins 58 secs to boil.

No overheating problems and my wife says no problems with boiling milk. Performs as well as previous equivalent Sharp model.
