- Good points:
- I already had a Sebo which finally gave up the ghost after 18 years of hard use in a big house with dogs, cats, and lots of children! Borrowed a Dyson, and gave it back gratefully when the new Sebo arrived. Brilliant cleaner - so many reviews say it is the best you can buy and I would agree with that completely. Not cheap, but when you look at 18 years of hard use it suddenly becomes very cheap!
- Bad points:
- Not the prettiest machine, but that cant really be an issue in a vaccuum!! That's honestly the only bad thing I can think of.

Easy to use - Bad points:
- As I had read in other reviews the appliance topples easily when using the hose, so you need to use the extension hose and make sure you don't overextend it.

- A wonderfully sturdy vacuum cleaner. I would never go back to other more stylish makes, such as Vax and Dyson. Why ? In my experience these models tend to have a short 'shelf-life' : materials are thin and liable to crack and break. While you miss out on the lightweight bit and perhaps the ability to pick up almost every speck of dust,I think I prefer a more durable machine that doesn't need kid gloves when you handle it ! Also, I now prefer the vacuum bag type machine. Why ? I got fed up with breathing in all those dust particles and having to bang every bit of dirt out of the cylinder each time it filled up and needed to be emptied. Sebo bags need replacing very infrequently because of the way they compress the dirt. Almost full marks Sebo!
- Bad points:
- Obviously the weight. You need to be aware that carrying this vacuum cleaner upstairs might be a problem if you have any mobility difficulties. Having said that, once on a surface it glides across the carpets and hard floor surfaces like magic: so not a 'bad point' necessarily. The hose attachments ar not so easy to use as other models. A fault commonly observed in other reviews, which I uphold, is that the machine can tip over when attachments are used ( pulling on machine ) On my particular model ( 4 extra ) I would like to see Sebo including a telescopic attachment at the end of the hose, so that more areas can be reached, especially at higher levels in rooms.
