- Good points:
- V.good picture, 3d little used yet but think will be good. Really pleased overall. I use a cinema sound so can't comment on that. Overall love TV & happy to be ready for any decent 3D coming up.
- Bad points:
- Although cheap for a 3D think still excessive premium. 3D glasses silly money & only get 1 pair.

- Good points:
-
Having been impressed with LED tvs seen in showrooms I chose this set because of its functions and price and worried about being disappointed by the picture quality. How wrong I was; the picture quality is outstanding and the amount of detail exhibited amazing. Also there is no blurring of fast action and the colours are rich.
Although the 3D feature has not really been tested I have seen enough to confirm the 2D to 3D feature does work.
In hindsight the set was easy to set up, but the manual was not easy to follow.
The wifi signal is not strong in the room where the tv is situated, but the tv has no problems downloading IPlayer etc. - Bad points:
-
The USB connector for the wifi dongle is placed in the centre of the connector block where it easily picks up interference necessitating the use of an extension cable.
The User Manual is very poor and far from straight forward to follow.
I recently downloaded a software upgrade and had to reset the various sound and picture settings and re-connect the set to the router.

- Good points:
- The television do 's exactky as it says it will. 2D to 3D upscaling is excellent the effect is as convincing as any made in 3D could be. I had some difficulty with learning the controls but that was my slowness and now I'm finding my way around all the features like a two year old my biggest limitation is time to play with everything it do's.
- Bad points:
- You get so used to the big screen that it sometimes feels as though you could changew to a 63".

when you’re not in a theatre. And that’s the Samsung 3D Plasma TV.
It offers the ultimate immersive viewing experience by liberating content
from the flat confines of the TV and turning it into explosive imagery. The effect is
breathtaking life-enriching, ultra-real picture quality that rivals the cinema imported into
your own living room. Samsung innovation has even made it possible to convert your favourite
2D movies to 3D. Because a Samsung 3D Plasma TV demands your attention, no matter what’s on.

Nothing compares with
Real Black Filter’s contrast
The Plasma 7000’s breathtaking picture quality is bolstered by the vivid, stark contrast and bold, pure colours that Samsung’s Real Black Filter brings out. It lets the Plasma 7000 block external light reflections while simultaneously maximising the transmission of internal light. This creates clearer, crisper images on screen with bright whites that pop right off the screen and rich, deep blacks that provide clear sharp images.
Green works in any room
Samsung Plasma TV are easy on the planet as well as the eyes. Our 2010 Plasma TV use 40% less power than last years models and are made with eco-friendly materials. So you can put your feet up and relax knowing you’re leaving a smaller carbon footprint and conserving energy at the same time. Not only will the planet look better, utility bills will too.
A premium look that matches its performance
With its crystal silhouette and pure, clean lines, the modern, ultra-slim Plasma 7000 was thoughtfully designed to fit any room and please every eye. The premium metallic black surface with transparent textured bezel set this narrow and sleek TV apart its competition.
Smooth motions from frame to frame.
Ever notice how with plasma screens, motions can get a little jerky? Unless you happen to be looking at one of Samsung’s new Plasma plus. Every frame is seamlessly smooth because we put 12 full subfields into each frame. That’s 600Hz. So contours are crisper, scrolling text sharper and the juddering issue is finally put to rest.
1080 FHD Motion
Anyone can say they have the clearest picture. But only Full HD 1080p has twice the detail and twice the resolution of regular HDTV. It delivers dazzlingly, rich colour and vivid details. And even corrects the errors from standard definition content. It’s definitely not your father’s HD.
