Have only had TV set up for a couple of days and picture and sound seem fine. Looks attractive too.
Setting up was extremely easy to do - something that had quite daunted an old technical dinosaur. - Bad points:
- Nothing, as yet, to complain about. Thankfully.

Image quality great, no make that fantastic. This set is fully HD, not just ready, so you can get the HD Freeview channels (if like me you don't have SKY). Even my old DVD player which uses AV leads (its easily 10yrs old at least!) gives a superb picture quality - I was really surprised.
Set up is really simple - channel tuning & software upgrade.
This isn't my first experience of a Samsung TV so I found the menus etc intuitive to use. I don't think anyone would struggle with them.
I already had a LOVEFiLM account so that was a bonus being able to watch the films via the InternetTV, and with iPlayer too! - Bad points:
-
The volume can change dramatically between channels, DVD & InternetTV - but that is not necessarily a fault with the TV itself.
The remote looks like a childrens toy!
Have noticed that the Sony InternetTV has more onDemand channels available - such as FiveOnDemand. No signs of Samsung having it yet but keep you fingers crossed!

- Good points:
- I bought this TV to replace an analogue, terrestrial-only set, and this is my first experience of multi-channel viewing at home. For that reason the Electronic Programme Guide is especially handy - letting you see what's on now and up to several days ahead on all channels. It also lets you book reminders for any programmes you don't want to miss. There are plenty of connections for the usual range of plug-in devices, and switching between them is dead easy.
- Bad points:
- Nothing to report so far.

Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Samsung LE32C650 / LE32C652 / LE32C654
-
have just read that you can only get bbc iplayer & not any other on demand tv. i currently catch up with tv programmes with tv on demand via my virgin media bos, i assume this will not be any different ? am still torn between this model & the cheaper samsung le32c580
-
You can only catch up with BBC iPlayer at the moment. Samsung may choose to add all the other on demand sites to this list at some point, but not now. It does allow you to connect directly with LoveFilm.com as well, but of course you have to have an account with them. I think overall I would choose the other version, even though I love this particular TV.
