Does it come with a lead to use with new HD TV. If not which is the best lead to buy and at w3hat price.
Does anyone play it though an older TV and if so what kind of lead is needed.
    I am not a techie!!
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Mavis asked on
    1. Hi there. It is best connected to a HDTV through a HDMI cable. There are a number of HDMI cables out there, ranging from £1-£50+. If the dvd is just for your own viewing pleasure i would get a cheap HDMI cable. I got mine for between £1-£2 on Amazon.
To connect to older tvs; it doesn't have a scart socket but it does have Component and Composite video outputs. These cables can be purchased for under £10 online.
      I hope this helps :)

  12. Will samsung 1080dvd work in Spain?
    Norm. asked on
    1. Hi there ...., I cannot guarantee whether it will work in Spain, although it should, as it also 'Region 2' for DVD's ...., if you combine it with a Samsung TV, then you have a better chance of a high quality viewing experience as they are made to compliment each other.

I have actually managed to watch a Region 1 DVD ...., so there is a good chance that this product is programmed for Region '0' ....,

It also looks better than any other DVD Player I have seen.

      Good Luck
      Chris

    Bob asked on
    1. Hello Bob,

Sorry for the delayed response. We have played TV programmes downloaded on to disc on our Samsung DVD player, so I see no reason why you should have trouble playing downloaded films.

      Cheers, Louise.

  14. Does it play Divx films on dvd's, or only Divx films if they are on a USB stick? Also is there a code that can make it a multi region dvd player?
    Ian asked on
    1. Hi Ian. I haven't used Divx in any format yet so I cannot wait comment. The player is very easy to change to multi region which I have done. A quick search on the Internet was all that was required & it's done with a few key presses. If you have trouble finding this please contact me again. & i'll post it here for you.
