- Good points:
- It is cheap to buy! Large hard disc. Like the preview of recorded programs.
- Bad points:
-
It just does not do what it says on the tin to the point where we are considering actually returning the product as unfit for purpose. It does not seem to have the ability to record two channels. The sound slips out of sink with the picture. After a recent software update the pause function is now so unreliable we have had to give using it. Its noisey. The manual record function doesn't stop recording at the end of a program - a 1 hour program continued recording for 21 hours once! The program preview screen does not fit the screen (the channels are half cut off).
This said the sagem is the second HD recorder we have had and there does seem to be some common problems - why is it that in this day and age manufacturers are producing such unreliable goods? - its only a Hard disc recorder, the technology has been around for decades in computers!

- Good points:
- Quite compact, has worked fine so far.
- Bad points:
-
A bit too much motor noise, whilst operating. Channel change a bit slow.
Also, I telephoned Sagem in response to a flier in the box, for an extended warranty. My details were taken, but received nothing in the mail, as promised.
