- It's easy to set up and seems easy enough to use... But unfortunately didn't get anywhere to really judge.
- Bad points:
- Got sound, but no video (just green screen). Tried adapters but nothing worked. Ensure you have a VHS recorder with video-S exit or the yellow plug – mine has neither and even with a scart adapter (with the red, white and yellow plug exits) it wouldn't work. Waste of money for me unfortunately.

Hi, am 71 years old and not to clever on this laptop ( Akoya E7214 ), got loads of vhs i want to keep, have 14 inch tv with vhs/dvd player, it also has scart lead at rear, will this be enough for this device?, or will i need something else,

Hi george,
I used an old VHS player and plugged it into the computer with the leads you get with the Roxio player.
Although you may need some extra leads to adjust for scart lead input.
It may be ok, although, I would try and use an old VHS player if you can

Lots of negative comments , do these refer to PC's version? I have a mac and am considering buying it as I dont know what alternatives there are to transfer videos to dvds.

strange about the negative comments, I had a great time changing all mjine over to DVD's
There are noit many, but have a go, and see what you think, The key is to change the videos to dvd and you can edit them and all sorts

i have a windows vista i have a usb flash drive do i need any more wires etc

you may need some leads to attach your video to the Roxio video capture card, it depends on the outlet of your video as they are all dfifferent.
It may be that you have them already.
