- Good points:
-
Image quality via Blueray is superb as is standard digital broadcast.
Handset navigation is easy.
- Bad points:
-
Not the prettiest TV out there, particulary the stand.
Could do with a shade more contrast. But that is a Plasma thing!

Bought this beauty as the ultimate in Televisual technology, only to find less than 2 months later, it had been replaced by G20, with "self-illuminating pixels" and now 3D is available!! - ppppffffttt.
Also, I subsequently bought a Panasonic Blu-Ray recorder with twin Freesat tuners and Vieracast, so all that technology built into the TV is largely redundant, and it's become a monitor for the Blu-ray recorder. I also bought a Panasonic 5-1 sound system, so the rather weak TV sound issues are a thing of the past.
I've also found Viera-link to be a bit "iffy". All 3 devices turn off when I turn off the TV, but the Blu-ray doesn't turn on automatically. In practice, you still need all 3 remotes to operate the set-up properly, and I've resurrected my trusty MX-500 programmable remote to control everything, and consigned the panny remotes to the back of the cupboard.
None of this has really put me off. I'd buy all Panasonic kit again - maybe look to see if I could get a slightly lower spec. 46" TV though. - Bad points:

TV Buyers GuideManufacturer's Description
Full HD LCD TV with freesat built-in, Wide Viewing Angle, Superb Moving Picture Quality and Advanced Networking Capabilities
“freesat" is a digital satellite service that offers free HD (High-definition) TV programmes. With the G15 series, you can enjoy sharp pictures, vivid colours, multi-channel sound, and various services with the interactive contents.
Even fast-moving scenes are displayed sharply and clearly. With a 50 Hz video signal input, 100 Hz Intelligent Frame Creation makes 100 frames/sec from 50 frames/sec. This increases the frame count to allow natural frame-to-frame transitions, for smooth motion images with high resolution. VIERA also uses motion focus technology that greatly enhances resolution.
The wide 178° viewing angle* ensures clear images even when viewed from an angle. The backlight’s wide transmission aperture enhances the contrast between light and dark, and improves motion-image response. *Measured at an angle where the contrast ratio is 10:1 or higher.
Enjoy the Internet contents right on your TV. With VIERA CAST technology, you can enjoy online content such as videos, photos, weather and stock information through an easy-to-use Web interface that’s built into the TV. No extra equipment required.
DLNA is a standard that makes digital electronics easier and more convenient to use on a home network. For example, DLNA makes it possible to watch motion and still images stored in your computer on a large-screen TV, or to watch content stored on a hard disc recorder in your living room or bedroom.
VIERA Link allows interconnected operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable. What’s more, the VIERA Image Viewer provides a new photo viewing experience. Simply insert an SD Memory Card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects.
