- Good points:
- Excellent all round TV. Screen may seem very dark at first but soon grows on you
- Bad points:
- I had to exchange the set a number of times due to loud buzzing from the rear when bright white screens were displayed. The BA model rather than the B model is the one to get.

- Good points:
-
Image Quality on HD Channels, Blu Ray and Xbox 360 is outstanding. The sound, as on most slim flat screen TV's lack's depth, but as it's connected to my surround system, it makes no difference to me.
- Bad points:
- The HDMi connections are on the back of the TV, so that the cables are connected at right angles. Stopped me from putting the TV on the wall, until I bought 90 degree HDMi cable adaptors.

TV Buyers GuideManufacturer's Description
Full-HD NeoPDP with Freeview HD & Freesat HD built-in, Infinite Black Pro, 600Hz Sub-field Drive Intelligent Frame Creation Pro and THX Mode. The V20 Series includes a DVB-S tuner for Freesat HD and a DVB-T2 tuner for Freeview HD providing you with a convenient, subscription free way of watching HD contents like sport, as well as your favourite soaps, dramas and documentaries in full HD glory wherever you are in the UK*. A contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 enables VIERA to display extremely robust blacks. A new panel and improvements to the cell discharge area dramatically increase contrast when viewing in brightly lit locations. And reducing the electrical pre-discharge that causes greying has greatly enhanced black gradation. As a result, deep, rich blacks are displayed in virtually any viewing area, from living rooms to bedrooms. Even in dark film scenes, clothing textures and individual strands of hair are clearly reproduced. 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images with 1,080 lines of resolution. For even greater clarity with motion images, Panasonic uses its own unique image-analysis technology. This technology converts the motion in each scene into data. And each frame is practically displayed for a shorter length of time than in previous systems, to reduce aftereffects. *When using Cinema mode. THX reproduces film images exactly as the film’s creators intended them. The overall aim was to improve the experience of cinema-goers and faithfully recreate the audio and visual ambience that filmmakers intended. To receive THX certification, TVs undergo stringent tests to determine, for example, whether the exact same brightness and colour are displayed at all screen locations, and whether black levels satisfy standard criteria. VIERA meets the high standards set by the THX Certified Display Program. Enjoy Internet content right on your TV. With VIERA CAST you can enjoy online videos, photos, and more. You can also check sports, news, weather and stock information with an easy-to-use Web interface that’s built into the TV. What’s more, VIERA CAST’s assorted online content has new additions, including the remarkably popular SkypeTM and Twitter® applications. VIERA CAST not only offers unique web entertainment but also expands your forms of communication. It’s easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Memory Card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. An easy-to-see, easy-to-use thumbnail display has also been added. You can also enjoy special background music, slideshow frames and transition effects.
