Good points:: Excellent TV to watch HD programs and DVDs. Quality of image for standard emission is more than acceptable. Sound better than expected. Easy set up.
Bad points:: A bit of ghosting and too bright for my taste. Teh cinema antrue cinema options dramatically improve the image quality.

Full-HD IPS LCD with 100Hz Intelligent Frame Creation Pro, VIERA Image Viewer and Game Mode

Even fast-moving scenes are displayed sharply and clearly. With a 50Hz video signal input, 100Hz Intelligent Frame Creation Pro makes 100 frames/second from 50 frames/second. This increases the frame count to allow natural frame-to-frame transitions, for smooth motion images with high resolution. VIERA also uses motion focus technology to greatly enhance resolution.

The wide 178°* viewing angle ensures clear images even when viewed from an angle. The backlight’s wide transmission aperture enhances the contrast between light and dark, and improves motion-image response. *Measured at an angle where the contrast ratio is 10:1 or higher.

It’s easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Memory Card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. An easy-to-see, easy-to-use thumbnail display has also been added. You can also enjoy special background music, slideshow frames and transition effects.

VIERA Link allows the interlinked operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable.

In Game Mode, quicker image response increases the enjoyment of video games when a game console is connected to the TV. What’s more, VIERA produces the dark images in video games more clearly. This mode works with the anti-image retention (wobbling) function, too.
