Small, compact and light with easy to use touch screen. Image quality is great and image stabilisation works very well too. Easily fits in my jacket pocket and is quickly up and running ready to take pictures or video. Fantastic optical zoom up to 16x magnification.
Overall it is a great little camcorder and has produced some great footage. I would recommend it.... - Bad points:

The Editing Software that comes with it is rubbish, hardly any features to it whatsoever, can't even add music to the video. So be prepared to purchase a decent HD editor, which there aren't many.
If you have selected to record to the sd card it will say "card recording" as soon as you open the display screen to start shooting. I found this misleading a couple of times, thinking that it was actually shooting video, only to find myself recording when I didn't want to or recording nothing at all when I did, it's a minor thing but something to try and remember and get used to..

- Good points:
- Light, superb video quality, huge zoom, brilliant in auto mode. Built in memory and takes SDHC cards, selection of cabels (no HDMI though)
- Bad points:
- Stills are a bit soft and over exposed - stick to video, sound susceptible to wind noise, low light video goes a bit soft

Camcorders Buying GuideManufacturer's Description
Full-HD Compact Camcorder Featuring 16x Optical Zoom and Advanced O.I.S. with Active Mode
Weighing only 227g (0.50 lb), the HDC-TM10 is the light weight camcorder and offers fatigue-free use even for long shooting sessions. Its compact size lets it fit into the palm of the hand, for anywhere, anytime recording of high-quality, 1920 × 1080 full-HD images. This compact camcorder can be easily slipped into a handbag or a pocket, ready to capture video images with snapshot ease.
The high-powered 16x optical zoom clearly captures even distant subjects, while the Advanced O.I.S. minimises blurring. This stabilization function is essential for preserving full-HD image quality when zooming, where hand-shake increases proportionally to the level of magnification. Advanced O.I.S., which detects and corrects for hand-shake around 4,000 times per second, combines with the 16x optical zoom to produce clear, stable zoom shots. And because the function is optical, there’s minimal loss of image quality.
Panasonic’s Advanced O.I.S. helps suppress the effects of hand-shake as you shoot, for both motion and still images. The new Active mode also extends the hand-shake correction range to allow shooting while walking or otherwise moving. Its powerful corrective effect reduces the kind of hand-shake that often occurs when shooting on the move, to ensure crisp, clear images.
The HDC-TM10 features the iA (Intelligent Auto) function, which automatically activates several convenient shooting functions. These include the AF/AE Tracking, which automatically tracks a moving subject for consistently beautiful results. Once you touch a selected subject on the touch-screen and lock onto the subject, AF/AE Tracking maintains the focus and exposure even if the subject moves or turns to one side. This records the subject with the optimal AF/AE (Auto focus/Auto exposure) settings.
The HDC-TM10 records full-HD images onto the 8GB built-in memory or an SDHC/SD Memory Card (optional)1, and features a Relay Recording function. When the built-in memory being used to record images becomes full, this function automatically switches the recording media to the optional SDHC/SD Memory Card to provide uninterrupted recording. It enables you to shoot for up to 15 hours2 in HE mode when using a separately purchased 32GB SDHC Memory Card.
1 Inclusion of an SDHC/SD Memory Card varies by market.
