- I love this color..very special compare with other phones...although the system is s40...but the new design of user interface make easy to use...I think it's better than the old s60 like e72...and the battery can use for a long time...recharge 2 times a week ...sometimes only once a week...

- Appearance is great. Very easy to use. Everything about it feels good, the buttons, the case. Lots of shortcuts. Great keyboard. Easy to download new themes and lots of beautiful themes to chose from.
- Bad points:
- Camera is only 2 mp (however for 2 mp it's pretty good). Cannot set several alarms.

- Qwerty keyboard, Familiar nokia user interface, easy texing, Social networking sites(facebook) on the go. Blackberry like phone (and does the job). Good for the touch screen haters and qwerty lovers.

- Old operating system (symbian S40), Low screen resolution(compare to touch screens). slow internet connection(3G only). wireless connection can be problematic. Not touch screen.

Hi Kevin, Hope everything are doing great. So Unfortunately i was not able to use my WIFI function due to the Operator Default Configuration. When ever i tried to connect to the net it will connect through the 3g Data instead of WIFI. i heard u only can connect to the WIFI if u unlock the phone. Anyway.. i would say i dont have the answer about the speed since i've never able to connect to the WIFI connection.

I have just got the C3 and am familiarising myself with the functions. I can't seem to find anywhere that lists calls received or made - am I being dim?

You need to go into contacts box in main menu and scroll down, it should be under log or call log.

How long does it take to charge? I have one that take about three hours, and is only 2 bars down is this right? Also does anyone know if you can set it to give reminders if you have a new text after the intial tone. All my previous phones have had the option to set reminders every min but can't find it on this one

I have not timed the battery life as such, but I last charged mine Christmas eve morning and used the internet and games and I still have over half full charge at the moment 3pm Boxing day.

It may depend on the network that you are on. I am on Tesco Mobile and it will only save 1 message. You could always try this...
Menu-->messaging-->More-->Message Settings..
Set sent Message saving to Yes and also No. of messages.. If you have these options..
If that doesn't work your phone is faulty!

I personally don't use 3G - isn't that where you talk to someone like via video? If so then well as there's no front camera I guess that won't be possible. Though the mobile inernet is much faster than I was expecting and it's also quick when I connect it to my home wifi - with not a noticeable difference (for me anyway) in the speed.

I'm currently on Orange network. Can I buy the C3 take my SIM card out of my old phone and put it in the C3 to stay on Orange and keep my old number - or is it more complicated than that. Sorry if that's a really basic question but I'm only on my 2nd mobile in 10 years!

it depends on whether the c3 you are buying is on the orange network .i did that with mine but i had to take it to a person to unlock it and then had to change alot of the settings to my so that the internet etc would work. so yes it is possible

Quick answer, it doesn't. I had the same problem so I emailed Nokia UK and got a reply back from them, saying that voice command/dialling is not a feature of the C3-00. But they hope to sort it out in the future.

If you can access a Wi-Fi spot it is free in some cases. As I am pay-as-you-go I personally don't use the internet through my phone account, I find 'free' wi-fi spots and use it from there.

I don't know where you live so I cant comment on the price in General, I bought mine from Tesco locked to Tesco network and it cost me £70.00 Sterling (UK Pound)
It cost nothing to access the internet on Wi-Fi if it is a free connection. I was in Malta recently and I used all free Wi-Fi I could find.

I do not think it is possible to do that yourself.

Not when you first take the picture,but after you have taken the picture you can go into zoom and save the picture after you have zoomed in.
You can alter the picture before taking,by going into options for the weather conditions,such as flash etc.

The screen size is 50mm by 37mm.I have the same problem as my hands are large and i have rhumatoid arthritus,so when it came for me to buy this phone i went into the nearest store and tried it for myself.I have no problem with textin and i tried the blackberry and samsung qwerty and i found the nokia to be the best for me.Hope this helps,Karen

If you buy the phone through o2 you would have todo nothing just put the sim card in and you are away,if you buy it from tesco on their network you would have to get them to change the network over to o2.
I know i have changed networks and to be honest i found tescos own the best.

The thing to remember that this is a budget version of Nokia's higher end business phones such as the E5 and E72. On this model the camera is 2 megapixels and does not have flash or autofocus. So don't expect it to be a substitute for a dedicated camera or a high-end camera phone. However in adequate lighting conditions the results are reasonable and, in my opinion, good enough for uploading to facebook. I would recommend you read some of the online reviews. Many of these have some sample photos taken with the camera. For example www.techradar.com has an in-depth review that should give you an idea what to expect.

As long as the phone you buy states that it is a Vodaphone phone, you can do that. If it is a contract phone will it not be cheaper to get one when the contract is up for renewal.

Yes, to an extent. If you press Menu-Settings-Display-Font size you can control the size in each of Messaging, Contacts, Web and Menu. On Messaging and Web you can choose from small, normal and large font size. For Contacts and Menu you can choose between normal and large.

I have bought the C3 and it is brilliant. But, I tried the video mode. It worked but only for a couple of seconds and then went off. Why is this? My son says I probably need a memory card but the booklet that came with it didn't say this.

That's a very good question, and I'm afraid one that I can't answer as I don't really use the video feature. However, it does sound as though it's running out of memory.
If there's one close-by, I'd be inclined to wander into the local Vodafone shop and ask them for set up assistance.

Hi, it normally last me about 4-6 days depending on how much i have used it. I text several times a day (approx 6) and maybe a short call or 2. If you didn't use it at all in that time then i guess up to a week.

That would depend on whether the phone was locked to a particular network or not. I imagine any mobile sold in the UK will work with any SIM card if it is unlocked. The Lebara website states that your phone must be unlocked to use one of their SIM cards. You can get these phones new and unlocked for about £100 or you could try getting an unlocked one second hand on eBay.

Its only good if its all you have. Don't know about apps as I am not into them. -
app market is a little confusing just to get it started and linked,i gave up ...but the camera is pretty good ...good luck !

I currently have a Blackberry Bold 9700 on a contract, however I cannot deal anymore with it messing up on me. So i'm looking for a reliable phone that will do what i want it to: text and phone. Because at the moment, my blackberry wont even text properly!
I have a 3g sim, and I already know that that will work in the phone. Just wondering if you think it will do what I need it to.-
i love my nokia c3. its great for everything i need ie texting and calls and taking photos the camera on it is great. as far as i am concerned this is the best phone i have owned. you will be happy with it

There are no downsides that i can find even after using the phone as long as i have.You can choose your shortcuts for the main screen,all the usual applications.No problems with downloading,or going onto facebook.Easy to download games and the ovi store which you can use is ok,once you have set up an account,which i did online.The photos i have taken are clear and easy to alter if you want to zoom in.So i really cannot fault any thing about the phone.I love it and have bought a selections of backs so i can change them whenever i please.So all in all 10/10.Hope this help.karen

Depends what features you want. If it's a good, solid, reliable phone that has good reception, great battery life and is value for money, then definitely, yes.
For some, the QWERTY keyboard takes a little getting used to but you'll soon find it easy enough.
It's good for social networking on the go if that's your thing, however, if you want some of the more recent Smartphone features, then think carefully. C3 doesn't support things like QR bar code scanning (those funny little black and white boxes you see in magazines and on adverts these days), nor does it do some of the basic smartphone things other Nokias do.
So the short answer is 'Probably yes'!

Hi, I dont think so as I brought this phone for my sister and she has a tesco sim in hers. I got the phone at christmas so unless they have changed it you should be fine using another sim card. Hope that helps.

build is quality,menu is very responsive with good graphics,and texting is really quick ,the only slight downside is the keyboard is quite small but no different to my wifes blackberry

When i look at the pictures of the phone online i see there is a hotmail or texting thing box,you know what i mean,but can you only use it if you have facebook ana hotmail and the other chat or can you use it for anything.Like yahoo and other chats and can it be use for message talking like if you do not have facebook and hotnmail and yahoo can you use it just for sending texts.

No, you can use it for email and chat.Once you have set up your email address on the phone.You have to make sure that you dont leave the roaming on otherwise it eats into your credit.So restrict the roaming to twice a day to receive and you will have no problems sending at any time.

You can use the phone to send simple text messages (SMS), photo messages (MMS) etc., even if you don't have or want to use it for email.
You can also use the phone for Facebook, Twitter and the like, but it's not necessary to do so.

go to messages,new message then to options, choose photos, select the photo and insert in message. hope this helps you. it may not work because maybe dubai like egypt blocks images being sent into and out of the country but give it a try.

The battery live is good! but if you do games and play lots of music it wont last as long as if you are just calling and texting.
Also check the software, I had mine upgraded to the latest version and it seems the battery life is longer

when i loaded it via the internet it refused access i was told by my network provider(vodafone) you had to be 18 for this and also 16 for just checking lotto numbers....and to top it off would have to pay to have the age restriction removed...lets just say at 30yrs of age i didnt want to hear that...sorry cant help you any more ,but good luck x

it does have print on the phone, so theres a possable chance you can but im never tryed as i don't have a printer myself
