Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Nikon D90 (Body Only)
-
When buying this camera, body only, do you get the standard accessories such as battery charger, USB cable, etc. or is it just literally, body only?
-
Mine came from Jessops in t he UK and YES it had all these included. The only cable not included was the HDMI cable small to large for the TV socket all the rest are included. If you see a cheap alternative option elsewhere I would always check to make sure these items are included as they can be expensive.
-
-
I currently use a Nikon D100 with Nikkor 28-200 lens. Can I use my present lense on the D90?
-
Best way is to go to Jessops / Jacobs with the lens and ask them if you can try it out on a D90 body - worst case they will say no. Tell them you are thinking of buying one.
That's how to test it.
-
-
i currently own a D60, i am looking to upgrade. would you recommend the D90? should i also sell my D60 to finance my upgrade, or keep it as a spare?
-
I upgraded from a D50 about a month ago and I am very pleased with the D90, like you I considered keeping my old D50 but I have just listed it on eBay tonight as it was worth more than I thought. I got my D90 from Jessops on interest free credit, worth considering. Overal highly recommend the Nikon D90.
-
The D90 is the best upgrade you can get in my opinion - the sensor is the same one as the D300. I have been very happy with the results so far. D60 might get you £100 I guess - I kept my D70S as a back up - for what I would get for it I considered it not worth selling - (if that makes any sense) - go for it you will not be disappointed. I am still finding new things on the D90 - have fun
-
Like Dennis Iam still finding new things on my D90, I would hang on to your D60 as a back up.I think the D90 is a great camera better than some of the more expensive camera's,you will not be sorry.ALL THE BEST , GEOFF.
-
-
I cannot decide on the D90 or the D5100. Although i am new to dslr cameras which will be the best investment in the long term. I am patient and i love reading instruction booklets (sad i know) to get the best out of any new buy.
-
I can't advise you realy - there are subtle differences with both camaras. My call was for the D90 based on viewfinder bigger on the D90 and a bit heavier - I wanted something I can get a grip off as I have large hands - D5100 is smaller so if you want lighter weight and smaller ......... both offer a great range of functions - go and try out both in a camera shop - take a card with you so you can also compare quality on your computer
-
I agree with Dennis I think the D90 is a real Camera I don't go for small, in the end it's down to you, go to your camera shop and see for your self. ALL THE BEST Geoff.
-
-
I used to use a D3 but kept that job and now want my own camera!! Will this camera be compatible with a sigma lens, the D3was, but I thought best to ask. Thanks for your help.
-
Best to check the sigma website for compatible models
-
Hello,
Yes it will be compatible but will have a crop factor of 1.5, that's to say that if you have a 50mm lens it will become a 75mm lens, or a 28-80mm zoom say, will become a42-120mm zoom. (Unless the sigma is a dx format lens, then it will remain in it's original format) Hope that's not too confusing! -
I agree with Dave I use a sigma lens myself with no problem, the D90 will be fine for you. All the best Geoff.
