This machine can whip through a pile of linen in no time. I originally purchased this machine to speed up the time it took me to iron my work shirts for the week. In fact its no quicker to iron a shirt on this machine than using and ordinary iron, I'd say it takes longer. However my partner runs a guesthouse and she is delighted that she can iron all the guest linen in less than a quarter of the time it took with her old manual machine and she can sit down whilst she's doing it!
Handles large quantities of ironing in a short time especially bed and table linen and clothes that can go through flat.
It is very solidly constructed but the wheels allow it to be moved easily over level surfaces.
Having used this machine I wouldn't go back to a manual Iron or a table top type manual press for ironing linen. However, for small domestic quantities it would be difficult to justify the expense. If you are busy person and time is valuable to you then I would highly recommend this machine. - Bad points:

Fiddly to Iron items that aren't flat or have collars, heavy beading, etc
As its heavy it can be difficult to move over anything other than a level surface as I found out when I wanted to do the ironing in the garden on a nice sunny day.
Its relatively expensive for what it is, compared to the price of other "power tools" or domestic appliances I have bought in the past. I can only assume that this is because it is sold in relatively small volumes compared to say washing machines and tumble dryers.

- Good points:
- Gets the ironing done in no time, very easy to fold and put away in a corner, much better ironing dry, than having to fill up with steam all the time, which I did with my old table top one.
- Bad points:
- When folded the rest bar slips off one end. But now I just take it off before putting it away, so not too much of a problem.

- Slashes the time I spend ironing bed linen and is effortless to use. I run a small B&B business and I wouldn't do without it now.
- Bad points:
- Can't think of any. I only use it for flat items such as bed linen, tea towels, place mats, etc. , but that's what I bought it for!!

- Good points:
- Speed of operation,the control of speed,the finished product,ease of operation with foot pedal leaves hands free to help feed in ironing,the tips in book are a great help,quality of finish of machine.
- Bad points:
-
None,sometimes a little heavy to move,but if lighter might compromise the quality of working and finish.
Maybe moving the control on/off either on top or down the leg out of the way so that linen would flow easily over the right hand top of machine would be an advantage.
Otherwise I love it!
