Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Microsoft Arc Touch
-
does it use a USB to connect via wifi
-
Yes, it uses a small USB dongle to connect wirelessly. The mouse itself is powered from two AAA batteries.
-
It also has a neat feature where the dongle is stored under the mouse but held in place by a magnet. This means there are no 'grips' to wear out and the magnet is plenty strong enough to prevent the dongle from being shaken loose.

Hi how fast to scrolling and left right clicks. Is it well made
-
I'm sure there are quicker mice on the market but I've been using it to play games with without problem for the last few months. I especially like the feel of the scroll.
-
The reactions are quite good i have used far worse the build quality is very good
-
-
I travel alot and work as a trainer. What is it like for giving presentations and creating them on Powerpoint. i.e ease of use/comfort.
-
i find it quite comfortable to use as i use photo shop quite a lot
-
It's really comfortable for me, you find yourself resting your hand on it more than gripping it. I haven't ever used it for presentations but I use it everyday for work and gaming and it's fine.
-
it is ergonomic and easy to use. it does take a bit of time to get used to the part where you would have a roller ball but when you do its great. it sets up easy and fast and i love it.

To users who've had this mouse for a while - has it stood up to the test of time? Has repeated use of the flattening/curving on/off switch had any effect on it?
Would you still recommend one? I'm thinking of getting one to use at work (web developer so heavy use of PC's, general browsing, coding, photoshop etc).
Cheers!-
I use mine every day and have done for about nine months now. It's holding up really well, still even using the original batteries and the unique on-off switch is actually quite robust. The only visible sign of aging so far is a slight loosening of the rubber covering this flexible section, however this is purely a cosmetic thing.
Even if it does get worn out or broken I would probably replace it with the same model, so I do recommend it. -
Hi
Mine is used for a HTPC and as such doesn't see much use. So although I've had it a long time I'm afraid I can't really comment on it's robustness.
But as a light usage mouse that can be switched off when not in use (like while watching a movie), it's perfect.
-
mine too has only light use altough when used i am doing photographic work and i find very good as for switching on and off all seems well at the moment
