With USB Ripping, you can connect a compatible MP3 player to the LG product’s USB port and record or ‘rip’ music from a CD directly to the MP3 player. The tracks will be copied onto the MP3 player in the order they appear on the CD. This great feature enables you to copy music on a MP3 player without the need for a computer!
USB Plus
Playback videos, photos and music via USB storage device via the LG player onto your TV.

1080P upscaling

For the ultimate picture, a Blu-ray disc will provide all the detailed picture quality without the need for picture to be up scaled.

DivX
DivX is a file format that allows movies to be compressed and fit onto a CD, as a DivX movie is about 8 to 12 time smaller than a DVD. DivX playback on LGs video and audio products allow you to download DivX movies from the Internet onto a CD or USB stick, to then enjoy in the comfort of your living room.

    nson_jeanette asked on
    1. it should do it via hdmi cable then on youre dvd remote push the function button till tv/audio scrolls across the dvd player failling this you might have to connect via scart lead but this will not be able to upscale to hd quality hope this helps
      chris replied on

    2. I agree with Chris, use scart or HDMI for flat screen tv. It works fine with our T, the important bit is setting the remote function button to TV

  6. Are the speakers wireless? I won't be able to put the wires anywhere if it isn't. Really would help, THNX!
    Toby asked on
    1. no , sorry they are wired. but the wires are VERY THIN and easy to hide.
      STEVE replied on

    2. NO - They're not wireless.
Especially for this price - wireless have the problem of having to be powered, do you plug them in to a power supply or keep feeding them batteries which will loose power over time? Also there could be a problem with interference.
As with all 5.1 there will be a lot of wires to have to route around the room. The wires are fairly thin so can be hidden quite well.
      A verified owner replied on

    3. Hello
      The speakers all have wires
      They are not wireless
      jayne replied on

      chris replied on

  8. has this system got a scart lead
    georgina asked on
    1. System supplied requires leads to connect to external systems/sources. For HD visual output you would be best to use your own HDMI cables. See product's full connection specifications for available options.
      Riccardo replied on

    2. no scart lead supplied it has scart socket on the back, but you will get far better results with hmdi lead hope this helps.
      george replied on

    Thanks.
