Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the LG 37LD450

Is this tv wall mountable?
-
Yes you just need the right bracket.

hello, just wondering is this tv good for gaming on the ps3. As I am going to buy a 1080p television primarily for this. Also does it improve with the hdmi cable
thanks
satt-
My son is well impressed and are very pleased with it he has a PS3 and has very good picture quality so all and all very good buy
-
Hi Satti,
I use this TV specificaly for the PS3 and nothing else and can assure you it has transformed my gaming. The picture in full HD is outstanding and a great size screen for this purpose. I really only play F1 2010 being a huge F1 fan and have all the kit attached, ie; Gameracer Ellite with Buttkicker, Logitech wheel and pedals, headphones etc and its become a very real simulator. I have regrets at all with this model. The only glitch you may have is a lag with the sound on some games but this can be easily rectified.. let me know if you need any further help.

can i watch movies through the usb

Hello william
I presume you mean using your computer or lap top, if so the answer is yes you can.

thanks very much paul very helpful, u also mentioned the sound quality, is it really bad espesh for gaming. should tht put u off buying the television
satti-
There is nothing at all that would put me off buying this tv. A useful tip if you are installing this tv in your bedroom is, press remind for a program at the time that you wish to wake up and the tv will turn itself on for you.
-
The sound on this TV is fine, I use headphones and get a great sound..though its just as good without, I would not let the sound put you off, infact i cannot think of anything about this tv that should prevent you buying one, i highly recommend it especially at this price.
Paul.

Hi, I only use HDTVs to watch films on Blu-ray, so is the picture quality really good ? I've heard some complaints that the black level is medicore; is this true ?
Also, have you experienced any shimmering around objects or the picture flashing at all ? Thanks for reading.-
Hi, I've found the quality of the picture to be of a consistant high quality with no shimmer or flashing
-
i only watch blu-ray to and have no complaints...picture is quality

How do you connect it to the internet? Is it by an ethernet cable or is it possible to connect it via a USB wifi adaptor?
What is available via the internet connection? I've read some places things like iplayer, 4oD and 5oD are available? Also I've read that an internet browser is on the set? Has anyone used it? What is it like?
I know it is alot, but hopefully you're still with me :)-
Hi Paul, its Paul.. In answer to your question I havent connected this TV to the internet and I dont have USB or WiFi setup with it either.... however I have been online withit but all via PS3 and to be honest dont really use it for internet. I do all my online stuff with the PC and essentially use this TV for gaming, namely F1, which is fantastic on it.. Sorry if this doesn,t help much in your case, but I can only comment on performance relating to how i use this set.. if you wish to use it for something else it is not something i could honestly comment on .. and i am always honest.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi I have a few questions and these are,
1. Is this TV slim as the depth says 70 odd cm which is large but looking at pictures it looks very slim, the reason why is that I will be wall mounting this product and would prefer it not sticking out across the room.
2. My second question is what is the best wall bracket to get for this TV as i do not want to get the wrong one and im not sure if any 37inch wall mount will do?
3. I am usually on my Xbox when using my TV and I just want too make sure that it will be fine to use my new Xbox on this TV. Also if this TV has a good quality picture and sound and it would be nice to know where the cables attach to the TV as I would prefer not having wires everywhere.
4. My last question is if this TV is reliable as I do not want to pay for the three years cover as im assuming this TV comes with a year's warranty and if it was to be stolen I can clame on my home insurance
Im looking to buy this product very soon so the quicker the responce the more greatful I will be :)
Thank You-
1. The tv is 70mm thick which is pretty slim
2.Any universal wall bracket will fit this tv
3.I dont play games but my son has the same model & plays his x-box all the time
4.We have had no problems with the tv at all & the 12 month warranty is standard which is all i have had -
Also meant to say all plug-ins are on the rear so out of sight & integral cable tidy keeps all cables together

Is there anyway to reset the TV through a series of button presses, like maybe while its powering down. I was messing with all my settings on it the other day and got my picture inverted and it flashes on and off the screen. Now i do have my computer hooked up to it as well. I realize it might have thrown resoluttions that were way to much for the tv to handle but i went through all the different ones and still no change. Have been through all options and menus trying to figure out what i did that made it act all screwey. As it is i have to unplug the tv just to get it to turn off completely. Pls help.
-
Having not come across this before i really have no idea what the problem is, but do make sure your computer is no longer attached to the television. It might be worth contacting the manufacture to see if they can supply a re-boot code.
