- Good points:
- Good picture quality (in the end), multiple interfaces, easy to install
- Bad points:
-
Getting a decent image for people's faces takes awhile
The EPG is poor compared to others that I've used - the channel changes in line with the programme guide - does not allow you to surf the programme guide whilst still watching one channel
Can only place on standby no on/off switch which kills all power to the TV. - needs to be switched off at the mains.

- Bad points:
- the only bad thing was that we bought it for someone else and we only get to watch it for an hour or so a day when we visit.

TV Buyers GuideManufacturer's Description
26" HD Ready LCD TV
This LG high-definition LCD TV with built-in digital Freeview looks great on or off. Featuring three preset AV modes to optimise image quality for sports, cinema, or games, it also boasts a sleek, stylish design.
Freeview
Freeview is a subscription-free service that delivers up to 48 digital TV channels, including ITV2, E4, BBC3, and Film4-plus 24 digital radio stations, with no contract and no satellite dish.
2 HDMI INPUTS
Connect your High Definition devices such as games console or blu-ray player through the two H-D-M-I ports for a true High Definition multimedia experience.
Invisible Speaker
LG’s Invisible Speaker System has been fine-tuned by world-renowned audio expert Mark Levinson for an increased sweet spot. Breaking through the fixed idea that speaker grills must be exposed, this system provides a fully realized sweet spot, and powerful, realistic sound with speakers integrated into the panel design.
HD-Ready
High-definition television, or HDTV, is a new standard of TV with better-quality picture and sound than normal TV , the sort of standard you would see at a cinema. HDTV brings you closer to the action, offering more colours and a higher resolution picture (twice as many horizontal lines). This can make HDTV images clearer, sharper, more detailed and very life-like.
15,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
With a contrast ratio of 15,000:1, this LG HDTV provides vivid images, even in a bright environment, eliminating optical glare and minimising light reflection.
Clear Voice
Sometimes, when watching movies, dialogue gets lost in the background due to the down-mixing that occurs when your TV pushes 5.1 Surround Sound through the TV’s 2-channel speaker system. LG Clear Voice Technology alters the sound balance to emphasize human voices and reduce background noise.
