Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Leisure CM101FRCP
-
Is it possible to detatch the glass lid
-
Don't think so because the glass lid is connected to the gas shut off that is the safety feature so that never get gas left on if flame goes out
-
-
Hi, do the burners light automatically or do you have to use the ignition button to light each burner??
-
Hi there, cannot answer your question quite yet because of the faults with my cooker, and the extremely poor Customer Service sorting that out I have yet to actually use it!
BUT, when it was tested by the gas fitter in my presence you use the ignition button to light whichever burner you want.
It has a safety feature which i think is good with auto turn off if the gas goes out for any reason.
HTH?

would the ovens cater for a 12 in cake tin
-
Yes it would
-
yes, definitely

Hi
My question is for the gas model, do you need an electrical 45amp plug or does a normal 13amp plug cater for the gas model. I'm just wondering about the warming plate on the hob, would that require a larger cable?-
I cant really answer this for you, mine is hard wired and came with all amps etc and was fitted by electrician. The product did not need anything other than what it came with if that helps?

Is it 60 cm deep and another question...does the writing on the knobs come off after the first wash? I used bleach on my last cooker which was very wrong it seems.
-
Once fitted the cooker is 65 cm out from wall, to allow for pipes etc. No writing on knobs, numbers and writing are on front of cooker, not had mine very long but writing seems hardwearing. Very pleased with cooker and very handy over xmas
-
Very Happy with the cooker. I have washed mine everyday and the writing has not come of. No need to use bleach so easy to clean. I have even put all parts that come off into the dishwasher and no problems.
Best buy for the price.

Does the gas automatically cut of during cooking if the gas flame goes out from a spilage for example. i am wondering why they need the glass lid ?
Is it Ok to lower the glass lid imediatly after cooking. Is the lid a nuicience, thanks bridie-
Yes the gas cuts out as you say. The lid is for additional safety I think.
No, you do not lower the lid immediately after cooking because you would need to let the hob cool somewhat. I find the lid is a very good built in splashback.
-
-
Hi, is one of the ovens multifunctional? and do both ovens have lights thanks bridie
-
One oven is fan assisted the other is conventional. There is a grill above the fan assisted oven.
Yes both ovens have lights

-
Hi again,
one last question. this cooker seems too good to be true for the money. The only thing I`m now concerned about is the size of the ovens . We have always had a 60 cm cooker with a large oven that takes all baking trays available. Is the oven size a problem, I can`t find a 35cm oven tray.-
I always had a 60cm oven before this one but have found no problems with these ovens, turkey dish might be a problem.
-
hi no problem with oven size took the xmas turkeywith no problem . good oven for price
-
-
hi, i was going to purchase this range but have read that the seals in the doors cause problems.. has anyone had this problem with their range?? thanks!
-
I have had no problems at all, and am really pleased with the product. The ovens are amazing just make sure you reheat before using as they take a while to warm up but when hot they are great.
-
Hi there I purchased this range in October, and have had no problems with the seals at all.
I am over the moon with this range -
Hi have been using mine since September and I love it. Not had any problem with the seals, but was warned a good few years ago that certain oven cleaners can cause problems with door seals, so i never use them. The grill takes a good while to warm up so give it extra time, but other than that no complaints.
-
-
Do the doors open downwards or sideways. If sideways to the left or right?
Many Thanks-
Left oven opens to the left
Grill opens downwards
Right oven opens downwards
Bottom 'cupboard' opens downwards
-
-
Hi, I'm looking at buying the duel fuel version of this oven and wondered if you could tell me what amp the electric plug is? can you use a normal wall plug?
Thanks-
You should hard wire to regs.Ask a qualified electrician.
-
No its not a usual ampage, get an electrician to wire it in.

Score 8.0/10Having one fan and one conventional oven is a real bonus for us, somethings just cook better in the conventional oven.
Looks well in the kitchen
Manual ignition on gas rings, by now this should be automatic
