- Good points:
- Robust manufacture with accurate colour balance and focusing. Sound excellent for such a little camera. I bought the wide angle lens for the camera and it opens up the picture, no distortion. I used it along with 2 other non kodak cameras to record my band live at a gig, the results were excellent from this camera-head and shoulders above other so called high def units. Used the sound from this camera and cut the other to it. Great piece of kit. Have not used itunder water yet but will.

Have a little google before you buy. It's plagued with battery charging issues.
I took it on holiday to thailand.. it failed on the first day.

What is the battery life on this

Not great but will last up to one hour between charges, best if you switch off between shots as it powers back on in less than two seconds. Took it on Holiday to Egypt on Nile cruise and Red sea snorkelling and didnt have any issue with battery performance and minus Fifteen this year on ski break.

what would you think of this compared to a flip?

I can't really answer that as I haven't used a flip. The main reason we chose the playsport is because it's waterproof to 3 metres and we use it when snorkeling for which it is perfect.

Would this be good record mountain biking whilst attached to the bike? Will the picture be too shaky and do you think it may damage the camera?

Don't think it would damage the camera at all but do think that the image would be distorted due to the terrain youare traversing, however I am no expert on filming from a bike.

Should be fine on the 720 60 frames per second mode, the camera seems to be bullet proof from my experience.

whats the sound like?

very good on the whole but picks up alot of head on wind noise through mic as do all of this type. under water is excellent when snorkelling etc.

Score 10.0/101. When filming underwater it is difficult see what you are actually filming, so its a bit hit and miss, great fun but you cant be sure what you have videoed till you play it back.
2. After editing you cannot send the movie back to the camera it only be played back onto a computer.So, you can only show disjointed clips on the t.v., and the edited movie can only be shown on your computer.
