Good points:
I was nearly put off this printer by other reviews saying it was noisey, but it isn't. As I make my own greetings cards, I needed a printer to print on card, & thick Photo paper, It prints on both just great. Scanning is great. Also printing wireless from another room, no problem. A great buy!

No bad points well done Kodak.

  2. How easy is it to instal & operate?
    John asked on
    1. very but still getting md around it
      arthur replied on

  3. does it come with all cables
    mike asked on
    1. no usb
      arthur replied on

  4. why no usb and is this printer easy to install.
    john asked on
    1. yes i had very easy time
      arthur replied on

  5. Are there 2 paper trays one for ordinary paper and one for 6x4 photos
    Peter asked on
    1. yes 2paper trays
      arthur replied on

  6. Can I use this with windows 7 with the discs supplied or do I need to download from kodak website.
    Karen asked on
    1. I was able to use with the disc provided. It downloads onto the computer anyway.
      David replied on

  7. does it print on bothside automatic ,
    nazim asked on
    1. I have got to admit, I have not tried it yet although it says it can do this operation. I BELIEVE that you have to scan the document first via computer and then print.
The Kodak ESP7250 has a user manual online that you can view and you do not have to print all 160 pages or so.
      David replied on

  8. i am thinking going ut and buying this printer today
    shaun asked on
    1. I am very pleased with it, bought because the inks are quite reasonable in price and wanted to take loads of photos of my first long awaited grandchild. Very pleased with the results both photos and documents and copying. Go and buy, shop around for best price
      Colin replied on

    2. It is a great printer. Ink is cheap, it is reliable, paper jams are easy to rectify with a removable back. The internal paper feed is excellent and keeps paper flat and crease free. The only drawback is the paper 'out' tray. It is a little flimsy, but this is a minor irritation for sucvh a great printer
      Paul replied on

    3. item was incomplete ----- no reply from p c world ----- had to buy ink myself ----- will not use P C W again
      Raymond replied on

  9. Can I mprint from 3 stand alone computers with this wi-fi printer
    Roger asked on
    1. yes
      arthur replied on

    2. yes
      Lawrence replied on

  10. Is it worth buying rather than getting my photos printed in a store?
    Charlotte asked on
    1. The thing is I just print ot the ones I want on a 4X6 and if we like them we can print out on A4. I use the editing features that come on the disc, sdaves going to the shops and I've had some very encouraging remarks about the results
      Colin replied on

    2. I would say yes,the photo print quality is very good and the ink is a reasonable cost. So if you print lots of photo's it could be cheaper in the long run. I'm very pleased with it. Hope this helps.
      Paul replied on

  11. will it work with a normal 'non wireless' desktop pc running XP? I'm not well up on all this wireless stuff!
    jenny asked on
    1. I don't think you can use the Kodak on a WiFi basis if your PC doesn't have WiFi. However, there is a lead supplied in which case it will work like any other printer.
      Paul replied on

  12. Have you had any issues with feeding heavy weight photo paper through this machine? I've only ever had Epsons which feed it vertically.
    Chris asked on
    1. Don't know?? I've used normal photo paper and it has been fine...I have been very pleased with this printer....better than my epson!
      Paul replied on

    2. no ihave not
      arthur replied on

  13. can you print 250 gsm card stock
    barbara asked on
    1. Dont know haven't tried
      Colin replied on

  14. Does this printer use 2 cartridges for printing (1 black and 1 colour.) or does it have (1black and 3 colour). Also, can the cartridges be replaced individually. Is there an indicator to let you know how much ink you have left?
    Kenny asked on
    1. 2 cartridges that can be changed individually, the printer indicates how much ink is remaining. I'm still on the same ink that came with the printer! This is by far the best printer I've owned. Hope this helps.
      Paul replied on

  15. CAN YOU USE AN A4 TO PRINT ON OR NOT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SAY
    ALEXANDRA asked on
    1. Yes you can print on A4 and most other standard sizes, plus there is option to set "custom" size. Hope this helps.
      Margaret replied on

    2. Yes I have printed quite a lot of A4 copies and the speed and quality were very good. A4 is loaded in the bottom tray lengthwise from front to rear, hope this helps, Maurice.
      Maurice replied on

  16. Is it really as noisy as the reviews are saying, such mixed reviews, concerned as it was deffinatly the one i was buying, until now...
    susan asked on
    1. Well, I wouldn't say it was quiet, but it depends on what you want. Myself, I would consider that a small price to pay for such a good printer with probably the cheapest ink on the market
      Paul replied on

    2. I don't think it is very noisy at all.....all printers make a noise and when you think about it the printing process is completed in a very short time.
This is by far the best printer I have owned and the cost of the ink is also a major factor.
      Hope this helps.
      Paul W. replied on

    3. well thing it is good for my money i donot find it that noisy at all best ihave had so far for coat ink
      arthur replied on

    4. hadnt really noticed the noise - i wouldn't say it was any less or more noisy than any other printer.
      imtiaz replied on

  17. which ink cartridge series does this printer use. 10 series or 30 series
    haZel asked on
    1. 10. Read the spec
      Colin replied on

    2. 10. Shop around but would stick to kodak ink personally.
      David replied on

  18. if not used regularly will the ink dry out
    elusive asked on
    1. not really had it long enough to answer this, however the replacement cartridges are fairly cheap
      imtiaz replied on

    2. I have not had my printer very long but as with most liquids if left for long periods some solidification will occur. if printer is unused for some days, on start up the nosles will self clean. To avoid problems I suggest printing a small sheet at two week intervals.
      Maurice replied on

  19. what size paper can i use ? A3 , A4, A2?! or all?
    nina asked on
    1. A4 is the largest ,also has a tray for photo size 10 by 15 cm.
      Paul replied on

    2. As Paul says - good printer - very good buy, quality good as well.
      Lawrence replied on

  20. can you copy to word using the scanner
    sandie asked on
    1. no
      Raymond replied on

    2. No, I don't thnk so.
      David replied on

  21. Can I use my iPhone4 to print not using cable
    Mohamed asked on
    1. yes
      Colin replied on

  22. has it got multi cartridges? also is it completely wireless or does it come with a cable option? thanks.
    siobhan asked on
    1. The ESP 7250 has a single Black Cartridge and one multi colour cartridge. Whilst the printer is set up to be wireless it is possible to purchase a cable to enable USB connection and this is very simply done, as I have and it opperates fine. Sorry two other points to consider, you may find it cheaper to purchase the Combo cartridge pack containing 10C and 10B black and colour or 10XL black which will last longer.
