Purchased 2 of these for my 9 year old twin boys, excellent value for money, easy to use and very compact.
Would definitely recommend this Notebook and the built in webcam is great fun :). - Bad points:

- Good points:
- Brilliant performance and battery life considering its size. And you cant fault the quality of it. And you get alot for your money. Really like the way it looks aswell.
- Bad points:
- Only one problem is there are alot of programs on here that you can do without, that the vista pack has anyway so you pretty much have the same thing twice doing slightly different jobs.

how many hours are people getting out of the laptop battery wise?
i am on my second use since purchase, been on for just over 2 hours and down to 31% and all i have been doing is downloading and installing software.
does the life improve over time?
any advice would be appreciated

Mine does seem to get better its about 5-6 hours but as you say depending on what im doing, when its just ebay or internet searching seems no problem at all

If I'm just surfing the net I get 5 hrs or more but downloading seems to drain it quicker.

Sorry No it doesn't I have not found a NETBOOK that has, they have reduced the size of a Laptop and also the weight. It has a camera and is ok for facebook, emails and msn. It has speakers and online tv and radio is available along with Netfilix. Hope this has been of assistance.

You can also use a USB memory stick if it's for copying data, rather than CD's.

Hi Want 2 buy my son 1 of these netbooks 4 his 15th B'day in July, Is it possible 2 use an O2 dongle on this Item or do i need 2 get a vodaf dongle, Don't have a lot of knowledge with laptops, comps etc, Ur help & advice would b gr8tly appreciated. thanku.

Whilst we have not used a a dongle it doesn't matter which one. But a monthly internet subscription with 02 would only cost £9.50 for unlimited usage.
Dongles will be more expensive

The key board is 93% of full size key board - so pretty good. I have large hands and have no issues with the keys. I am very happy with it.

my son wants me to get a netbook to take to the USA, and using WIFI over there access skype to talk to my husband/his father back in the UK as he can't come with us. Is this a good idea, any one done it...is it complicated. We have to buy into some sort of WIFI over there I presume.? Is there an inbuilt webcam and speakers which I guess we woud also need. The idea is to hold the netbook up and video skype to my husband from the scenic locations we are visiting so he can see what he's missing!!!!!

Skype works well on the computer. The camera fitted in the netbook is quite clear. The microphone built in can hear me clearly. I have not used this netbook in the way that you suggest but I did with my previous netbook and showed my brother in Germany what it was like outside our house. To make ithe computer work you will need a WiFi, this has a lead that comes off the box in the house that the company that supplies your internet connection supplies.

I like watching video. Would iplayer work on this and i also watch shows from America because it not airing in the UK via the inter on wideo streaming sites such as megavideo. Will i be able to watch videos on this

Probably but it will be slow. I have not tried accessing video but even U-tube is slow.
