- Good points:
- Easy to use; solid construction; easy to instal; like the slots round the edge of the cutlery rack for teaspoons, frees up space for more cutlery in the main rack; like the way the cutlery rack can slide over the racks at the front allowing you to change its position easily; my dinner plates are quite large and these are accommodated easily by using the higher setting for the top rack - only problem with that being you can't lift up the folding racks but you can still use them. Filters are easy to take out and easy to clean.

Only three wash programmes the shortest being 1 hour 50 minutes - I wish it had a quick wash but you can't have everything for such a good price for a brand name machine.
A few plates came out a bit dirty but I had that with my old machine too and I think it is more to do with the shape of the soup and cereal bowls and the way they stack closely against each other in the rack.

- Cutlery basket is simple to move around the bottom tray so as to make most efficient use of the space. From my brief research prior to buying, it seems it's the best value, intermediate brand, integrated dishwasher on the market.

- I wish the normal cycle was nearer 1.5hrs than 2hrs.

How long does a normal wash take? And also - does the door stay open when loading?

A normal wash usually takes about 1 hour 50 minutes. Being a fully integrated model & having had the wooden kitchen cabinet door fitted to the front, it is well balanced and stays open when loading.

Do 11 inch dinner plates fit in?

Sorry for the delay - been away! If you have the top shelf on the highest position, 11 inch plates fit comfortably on the bottom shelf without fouling the rotating washer arm. Hope this helps.

Is there a short cycle programme, like 30 mins or so?

There is no "short" wash cycle - there are 4 options:- (a) extremely soiled dishes 2hrs 25mins; (b) normally soiled 1hr 50mins; (c) preliminary rinse (soak only) 8mins; (d) environmentally friendly wash cycle 2hrs 55mins. Hope this helps!
