Easy to read and understand insruction booklet - short and to the point. Following on from this, easy to assemble then also easy to use.
Can be easily used one - handed which is is very useful for people like myself who are disabled.
Great for downloading shot home movies ont DVD by computer.
Because it has rechargable battery faciliy it saves lots on new batteries. - Bad points:

- The problem only seemed to arise after purchase. Connecting flip with computer even though the specifications were correct between the computer and the flip camera, when using on the computer the quality was poor.

Sorry, I would like to say it was, but it all depends on the person's needs. If it is any help, I find it very comfortable, but to be honest we bought it for the video camera. It is amazing that you can keep this camera in your pocket like a mobile phone and it switches on in seconds and takes up to 2 hours of video footage at a time when and where you want. Sorry I cant be more help Maggie.

i maybe want to buy this to do videos on youtube, has it got good video effects and does it connect to a computer and can be read by microsoft movie maker?

Effects will be in movie maker anyway at a guess and yes it has USB connection and yes but must import videos seperatley once imported to you Flip Library
