Good points:: Picture Quality ia amazing, auto mode is excellent. Macro shots are improved from G9. Low lighting shots much improved, far less need for flash.

Good points:: Size and weight of the camera makes it much easier to cary arround than an SLR, but quality of image is not far behind.
Bad points:: Buttons on the right back side of the camera are a bit on the way (becouse of the big screen) and can be pushed undeliberately.

SLR cameras use a prism to reflect the exact image as seen through the lens and so offers a more accurate viewfinder.
