Dual Flash Memory
32GB Dual Flash Memory combines internal capacity and memory card shooting. The internal memory can store almost 21 hours of movies; record for even longer with additional SD or SDHC cards.

Design
Because it uses flash memory, the LEGRIA FS22 is light enough to be carried anywhere, weighing just 230g.

Video Snapshot
Video Snapshot mode makes it incredibly easy to create movies for sharing with friends and family. Every time the Record button is pressed, a short 4 second clip is captured. Simply add your clips to a playlist, select a soundtrack, and you’re instantly ready to play your movie on a TV – no need for editing on a PC. 4 seconds is the average length of one ‘cut’ in a TV show, helping to give your final movie an expert feel. Five rights-free tracks are pre-loaded onto the camcorder but you can also add your own music using the supplied Music Transfer Utility.

45x Advanced Zoom
Canon’s DIGIC DV II processor combines with the optical quality of a genuine Canon Video Lens to bring you the power of a 45x Advanced Zoom – get closer to the action.

Megapixel CCD
A Megapixel CCD lets you capture superior video images and higher quality still shots.

Pre REC function
In Pre REC mode, the camcorder starts recording three seconds before you even press the Record button. 3 seconds of footage are continuously stored and automatically added to the beginning of your clip from whenever you start videoing – never miss that crucial moment again.

Quick Charge
Flash requires much less power compared to other recording media, so you can keep on shooting for longer. And after a day’s shooting, all it takes is 20 minutes to recharge for a further hour’s recording.

Microphone and headphone jacks
With the LEGRIA FS22, a microphone input connection and a headphone jack come as standard – capture and monitor audio during recording to ensure the best possible soundtrack.

Dual Shot
Dual Shot sets all controls to automatic, leaving you free to frame your shots. You can shoot high quality video and photos, without the bother of switching between settings on the Control Dial.

PIXELA software
With the supplied PIXELA™ software, editing and sharing movies is simple – whether burning a DVD or converting files for upload to the web. In addition, the LEGRIA FS22 is compatible with Canon’s standalone DW-100 DVD Burner (available separately).
