Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Beko WMI71641
-
How quiet is this machine? The specifications say it's a whopping 7.7 decibels but the reviews always mention how quiet it actually is.
Thanks in advance for your help.-
I think it depends where you actually have it installed.
as an integrated machine in my (not large) kitchen it is next to an also integrated dishwasher. Both are placed against an outside wall. Never having had an integrated washer before I actually find it quieter than any other machine I have had!
Of the two, the dishwasher is noisier!
The only time it seems noisy is if the load is unbalanced and it then bangs against the cupboard door untill it balances itself again.
I tend to do a lot of small washes (every day) and I find it excellent.
To me its only fault is that I wish the dispenser drawer opened further, but that is just me because my work top is a bit wider than normal.
Hope that helps. -
We have been very impressed with this washing machine. It is in our utility roomm, which is just off of the kitchen and we currenty have no doors as we have just moved house, but we have not experienced any noise issues. I would recommend this machine.
-
I can not complain it is a very quiet washing machine and ideal for a family. i would recommend this washing machine.
-
-
I have an integrated door from previous washer (Electrolux) . Will it be easy to fit it to the Beko. Does it come with the hinges or are they an extra cost?
-
Sorry can't help as my Beko was fitted in another place than my original washer which was not integrated.
\\\\\\\but yes it does have hinges on the integrated door. -
The fitter made a bit of a hash fitting my integrated door but managed to fit an old one that was left over from when the kitchen was installed with a different washing machine. I imagine that they are fairly standard size so your previous door should fit OK.
-
Comes with hinges but found they didn't fit the original holes in the door, to our previous machine. Had to fill and re-drill to accept new hinges.
-
-
Has anyone been able to source the accessory to raise the height of the machine
to fill in the gap between machine and work surface. Can't get reply on help line. Made contact by email to be told by Beko the part does not exist.-
We haven't yet compleeted our utility room but woudl be interested to know if/where you do find a solution to raising the machine.
-
Our old machine had an infill panel which we tried to adapt to the BEKO but to no avail. We haven't found an alternative solution .....yet! But will forward any ideas that come up. Sorry
-
-
I'm looking to buy this washing machine but the dimensions for my cupboard are 600 x 600 will the gap cause any problems?
Thanks.-
I am assuming that your 600 x600 gap is bigger than the actual gap required for the washer leaving a small gap?
If this is the case and the washer is the integral version then I can not see a problem. In fact should it need to be removed at any time it will make it easier to manouvre.
Mine was a very tight fit and I dread the thought of ever having to move it!
-
-
we are open plan living how much noise will the machine make
-
Machine is very quiet - we've been using it without a door on the front as we're renewing the kitchen - imagine it will be even quieter with door on
-
When it's on high-speed spin it makes quite a lot of noise, but then they all do.
I can't say whether it's quieter in normal operation than other machines, but it is quieter than my old (Indesit) machine which gave endless trouble.
We've had this one for 4 months or so and it's been fine. -
I find the machine a lot quieter than the last one a Diplomat I think.
-
-
Is the drain filter at the front? Can't really tell from the photo!
-
Yes the filter is in the front on the bottom right corner, hope this helps
-
-
can you reverse the door to the right
-
No
-
-
My old unit had a dual feed for water, i.e. both hot and cold water, does this machine have one or two water feeds into it as someone said that most new machines now have only one water feed ?
-
Sabrina,
It only has 1 feed. Just blank off the hot water as not required. Fitting old kitchen door needs some work and makes a bit of a noise when spinning. Other than that, been a good machine so far! -
Hi Sabrina
I can confirm all of Ian's reply. It appears to be a well built machine. The other query was Beko Warrantee form refers to a one year warrantee, if you check the handbook the warrantee for built in machines is 2 years.
-
-
The height of the machine states it is 850, we have an 840 gap, but are wondering if this height is adjustable with the legs or not?
-
Just measured my machine its 820 exactly 32 inches so they must have included the legs. My husband has set ours basically floor level so if u do that u will have 20 left at top for movement when its spinning. Its a very good machine although the draw is a bit difficult to pour washing liquid in if u use that and not powder. Sorry it took a while t answer, my cat got run over so I've been a bit distracted. Hope this helps regards lesley
-
-
i was wondering if with an integrated washing machine do you see any part of the machine or is it all behind the door?
-
it's all behind the door.
-
all behind the door once you have fitted the door.
I did find the door fitments where in a different place to my last washer. So had to do some work on it to get it fitted -
As Peter says above... just be sure to use the supplied template, as the fittings need to be spot on.
-
-
Can the soap dispenser come out, to make cleaning easy ? please
-
of course it can it lifts up and pulls, out gently does it.
-
Yes, it does come out for cleaning.
-
-
hi im about to buy this machine but my door opens the other way will this be a problem for us to fit the door as it opens the other way
-
Shouldn't be a problem as there are 2 holes on each side of the washing machine and they can be used either as hinges or as door stops so the door can be opened either way. I like the machine - it's got a great short wash option which is perfect for me and the settings can be over-ridden manually if you want to change the pre-set temp or spin speeds
-
Hi.
I agree with everything Louise says, great machine very happy with it. -
Hi,
I also agree with louise. As long as the holes in your cupboard door are in the same position as the holes in the machine, mine were not and I had to drill new holes in the cupboard door. bit tricky but template supplied helps.
-
-
What is the length of the manufacturers warranty?
-
Manufacturer's warranty is 12 months. I think you can extend it at extra cost (of course!)
-
-
i've been reading the reviews and they seem to be good, just wondering about the problems with the holes on doors not matching holes on the machine? is this a major thing to resolve? i'm looking to replace an absolute rubbish Lamona washer that we bought with our Howden kitchen, i'm hoping this Beko will fit!
-
Actually when we brought it we thought that it was the old machine that had problems with holes in the doors did not think it would be this machine???? Long and short of it is that we did have to buy a new kitchen door . . . .
-
The holes do not match up to the ones on my cabinet door although my dad says he can easily router some new ones with no problem although I still have not done it as he has not been well but he says it's a very easy job for anyone that can use a router hope this helps
-
The spacings for the hinges on the washing machine are of a standard door size , so i would expect your door will be of the standard spacing and should be a straight swap over. a door template comes with the washing machine so in the unlikely event you have to make hinge ajustments this can be used.
-
-
I have an old diplomat machine and the depth measures 537mm from front of the wooden door to rear of the machine. 540mm would just be ok unless this measurement is from the metal front of the cabinet not including the door, can you help?
-
The dimensions are for the machine exclusive of the integration door
-
-
Hi I was just wondering in the height of the Beko WMI71641 can be lowered at all by chance?
From reading the product info, it states that the height is 850mm. The space under my worktop it 853/854mm so will be quite a tight fit. I could opt for the Beko WMI 61241 which has a height of 820mm.
Basically can the legs on the Beko WMI71641 be removed, lowered or droped slightly, so there is some ability to move machine if required?
-
Hi
I had the opposite problem from you that the machine was too low for fitting to the cupboard door.
The height stated in the instruction book is 820mm which is with the feet screwed tight against the machine. The feet screw out about 10mm if it needs to be higher. Hope this is of help to you -
hi yes
The feet screw out about 10mm if it needs to be higher. Hope this is of help to you. It is a great machine by the way
-
-
We've recently had a Beki WMi71641 fitted and find that the drum seems to be off balance despite changing programmes, putting the washing in evenly and at the right weight for the programme. It's really quite noisy. we've made sure it is level etc. Has anyone come across this problem?
-
my machine is super quiet... my kitchen and living room is open planned and I hardly hear it all.... best of luck with that ...
