Good points:: much better than electric cooker i had, much easier to cook on and the food tastes much better good value for money
Bad points:: the only snag i have is that there is only one shelf in the oven not enough shelf room

Where is the Grill in this cooker please and how many shelves are there?

1. The grill is at the top of the inside of the oven,when in use the grill guard must be used.
  The cooker came with only one shelf,quite insufficient of course!I purchased a further two from 'spares' for approx.£25 for two

1. I'm sorry to say I cannot find the answer to your question,I have referred to the technical data in the installation guide . The cooker cannot be' pulled out' to ascertain the answer to your question. I suggest you call customer services helpline and quote

Can you use both the grill and oven together as so far we have only been able to use one or the other"which we think its unusual not to be able to and very frustrating"!?.

1. I do not recall the cost of installation from Tesco,it will be on their website. With hindsight I would have bought the next price up but their was a difference of £100,the cooker is basic and seems to be a hotter oven from the bottom , I'm not very pleased no and would not recommend it .Unless you can cook everything near the top of the oven it's ok,cooking a roast dinner is a nightmare

can you light the cooker without the ignition switch, i.e. like the old fashioned way of using a match. want to use cooker in my horse lorry but won't always have access to a mains switch.

1. THE GRILL IS FINE,I HAVE NO COMPARISONS AND HAVE NOT USED IT A GREAT DEAL BUT CERTAINLY SUFFICENT TO MEET THE USUAL NEEDS.IT GETS VERY HOT AFTER BEING ON A WHILE BUT BE SURE TO USE THE GRILL GUARD WHEN GRILL IS IN USE AS IT MELTS THE OTHER KNOBS
